Chapter 141: Stay (part 2)
The door creaked open, and a very familiar figure swept the doorway with hiintimidating aura, and a shadow that painted the path black. A strong gust of wind yelled with glee, as the curtains danced along the rhtyhm in the air. Well and Arjay, while their heart beated to their fastest, were left unmoved on their spots as they followed the figure with their eyes. It might have felt scary and anxious, but the two managed to compose themselves as they trusted the possibility that Allen Mar had already found his place to hide on.He was in a safer spot. Much safer to where the two boys sent in the detention room were. He was hiding behind the giant cupboard, stuck between two long and narrow bookshelves brimming with thick, old literature books and bulky encyclopedias. Although he was inhaling all the dusts and feeling all the heat, he could rest assure that he will not be busted for as long as he was hiding in there. Meanwhile, the real burden of concerns would be on the side of both Wel

Chapter 142: The Heir
Well was such a party pooper. He sucked at everything that involved too much crowd, too many lights, too many speeches, and too many talks with literally everyone he would meet in the hallway. If it was not for the unlimited wines and the responsibility of being the next CEO of the Smith Coffee Shop, he would have left the party already. “Mr. Well,” A soft tap on the shoulder suddenly sent a shock on his body, causing him to react unconsciously and turn around to face whoever it was that called my name. “Yes? What is it?” he answered as he grabbed a glass of martini off of the tray of the waiter who passed by in front of him. He took a sip from it and moved a toast with a group of billionaires– his Dad’s affiliates, who were standing about a meter away from him. “Your father wants you to get ready. Your promotion will be announced in a while,” the woman said. If Well was not mistaken, she was his Dad’s secretary– who was soon to be his secretary as well. I had a talk with Dad a

Chapter 143: It Is Him!
“I recognize that voice!” Well yelled as soon as he heard the voice that echoed through the door of the detention room, coming from the other side of the wall. “Me, too. I think we can both agree that it is. . .” Right before Arjay could even finish his sentence, Well chimed in. “Allen Mar,” unexpectedly, they said in unison. After a short eye for an eye contact, Well quickly headed to the door and then banged it as loud and as hard as he could. He was trying to make himself be heard to get help. They badly needed it. They badly needed someone to open the door for them or else the mess will even get messier. If they would not escape– or in this case, escape with the hell of a friend, then they most likely would not make it before the class in the afternoon would be over. “Hey! Allen Mar, is that you? Please, we need your help! We have to get out of this room now!” Well shouted on top of his lungs. Beside him, Arjay Macmillian was silent for almost ten seconds. Until one moment,

Chapter 144: Quite Bad
When the doctor told Well to just wait outside until the immediate operation was over, Well could not help but just obey with the rules. However, deep inside him, he was already anxious, nervous, and panicking. Emotions had been mixing up in his stomach that he found it very difficult to breath anymore. They had been clogging his throat, making him lose control of his breathing. Different scenarios had been playing in his head to the extent that he was lost already and could not distinguish the reality from the hallucinations. Hope had been the only chance he had. And although his abdomen churned in fear, and the back of his neck had been filled with goosebumps, Well only braved the situation and sat on one of the chairs at the waiting area, believing in his friend, Allen Mar that he would survive the operation no matter what. Prayers came out of his lips unconsciously without him knowing it. His nerves had never been feeling this tight. The flowing of blood all over his body had bee

Chapter 145: Creep
"Wait a second," I halt Jan Clarence from speaking and then give myself a couple of seconds to digest what he just said. And then I realize, he definitely got a point. I forgot the fact that I dk really have hundreds of fans and tens of fans clubs that are rooting for me while at the same time wishing I would be their endgame. And considering fans' possessive behaviour, I am now starting to worry what could happen worse to Louis Peters. If it is really true that he made a lot of girls disappointed and angry for kissing me (although technically, I am the one who initiated the kiss), then he surely is in trouble. I need to find him. I got to find him. "Oh, my God." I gasp. "I think you are right. I think he is really in trouble. Do you know where he is? Like, have you seen him around?" Jan Clarence only ignores me, and I thought he is going to keep it that way. But then, later on, he makes a very unexpected move. He digs for his phone in his pocket and rummages through its deepest de

Chapter 147: New Ally
"It is nice to know that I am now formally a part of your so called alliance," Arjay Macmillian said as soon as they set themselves out of the detention room. It all happened so fast. At first, they thought they were doomed because they were supposed to spend hours and hours inside the detention room, but all it took them was only a short debate with the person who happened to be the reason why they were there inside in the first place. And then, surprisingly, they won the heated argument, which caused the teacher to walk out of the room with his head melting down and his shoulders dropping to the floor. Surprisingly, they were the victors. Who would have thoughts that it was possible for three mere students to win an argument over a teacher who should have had a power three times the power of the three students combined? "It was a nonsense argument, but let us not deny that it was a good one," Allen Mar said as he gave his top a good swish and swash to get rid of the dust. "Anyway,

Chapter 148: Avant Garde
“How did you know?” Allen Mar and Arjay Macmillian asked in unison after the three of them jumped into the taxi cab and told the taxi driver to begin driving. “How did I know what?” Well answered. He was still on his phone, with his fingertips tapping the digits and letters on the phone screen, all the while talking to someone through chat. He was not paying attention to the two. All his senses were focused to the device in front of him, and to the person that he was talking to on the the device that he was holding. “How did you know that we are being followed by someone?” Yeah. And how could you even say that someone was trying to follow us in the first place?” The two of them replied respectively. “If you pay attention enough to the surrounding, you will realize that someone has been following us. Or let us say me. Because it is me that is being followed by the same person ever since I got out of my hotel room. If I remember it right, he is the same person I saw when I had my br

Chapter 150: Digits From Anonymous
"It was a nonsense argument, but let us not deny that it was a good one," Allen Mar said as he gave his top a good swish and swash to get rid of the dust. "Anyway, yeah. Welcome to our so called alliance," he greeted Arjay as soon as they reached the stairs on the second floor. They still had class for the last period in the afternoon because it was only three o'clock, but they decided to not attend anymore because they thought time is gold for Binsent Anchorman amd they were probably late for about thirty minutes already. The three of them were supposed to meet at the City Central Park at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon, but because something came up, they had no choice but to deal with it. The good thing was that, Binsent Anchorman was not as time conscious as his late twin brother, so he really did not care about whether or not Allen Mar and Well would be late. So long that they would appear in the scene, that would be enough. "So, what is the name of your alliance?" asked Arjay.
