Sigh.

His whole body suddenly loosened up as he noticed he was already out of danger.

‘That was really...close.’

If one more soul had crossed that finish line, it would’ve been it for him. All his entire preparations in Stratton Dojo, his training with Sora..everything..it would’ve all been for waste.

Not only that. He would’ve even lost his life too if the system’s penalty had taken effect.

It really was close.

It was almost as if the devil had sent that ice kid from hell to torment him. Thank goodness he was just quick to make decisions if not only a second late would have sent him to who knows where.

Gabriel could only feel thankful that he’s now okay.

-“Allllright!!!” Mugan voice suddenly resounded in the entire arena, quickly catching everybody’s attention. “That signals the end of the level one of this tournament!”
