In a dimly lit room, a girl was sitting limply in the corner. Her eyes were tightly closed, and her legs and hands were tied together.

She was Jeslyn.

Her long hair looked messy, with a few strands stuck to her sweaty temples.

The atmosphere around was very quiet. Other than the small yellow lamp in the center of the room, there were no other sources of light, adding to the silence and gloom of the place.

Not long after, Jeslyn's eyelids moved slowly before finally opening. Her gaze looked dazed with a faint furrowed brow, trying to figure out where she was. Suddenly, a memory flashed through her mind, making her immediately sit up straight and look around her wildly. "I was kidnapped."

Then she looked down at her legs and hands, which felt difficult to move, and nodded confidently, confirming her previous words. "This is not right. I need to get out of here."
