In that Bed

Her throat suddenly seemed dry and she fought the urge to cry out for her need for water. She didn't doubt it, she must look as red as red could ever be. Her heart that had stopped immediately picked up at a faster pace as if to cover the time it had gone silent from shock.

"Most... Most likely?" She asked him hesitantly.

He checked his father's old watch that clung onto his wrist. "We don't have much time on our side. Will you join me?"

She nodded her head even before she realized it. 'Fool! What is wrong with you?! Get a hold of your foolish emotions! You and dad had a fight, remember? He sent you off to marriage because he didn't want to hear your words anymore, because he was tired of having you around! You hate him! You have to hate him, you need to hate him!'

But her thoughts contrasted her actions. She was already in the hallway before she came back to reality. Ryan had gripped her hand and led her out of his bedroom and she was to dumb to fight off his hands.
