Jason turned to look at what fell on the floor, he hurriedly picked it up and kept it back to its normal position. He could hear movement coming towards the room, he ducked behind the desk and held his breathing.

The door creaked open, Detective Jerry ambled inside with his gun in his hand. Turning on the lights as he moved towards the desk, scanning through the papers, Jason remained quick as he observed the movement.

Detective Jerry moved toward the other side of the desk, but he couldn’t find anything. Jason immediately switched sides to avoid being captured.

“There is no one here, but I thought I heard a sound coming from here.”
