Xavier lazily leaned back on the couch. "Miller Jewels joined a jewelry competition. Grandpa used his connections and did something behind the scenes to have them eliminated."

"Oh?" Caleb's interest was piqued. "Why did he do that?"

"He looks down on Yvonne." Xavier smiled bitterly. "He's definitely going to regret it a lot in the future."

No matter how hard Caleb tried to pry, Xavier said nothing anymore. The latter soon hugged the empty beer bottles and fell asleep on the couch.

Caleb spent a huge effort getting Xavier into the room. He stood by the side of the bed and placed his hands on his hips, panting. "He might look skinny, but who knew he was so heavy?"

When all was quiet, he remembered what Xavier had said to him and thought that perhaps Yvonne should know about it too.

The next day, Caleb left Xavier at home and headed to Miller Tower. Once he told them who he was, Yvonne's assistant came to greet him and told him that Yvonne was still in a meeting. She led Caleb to
