The speed of the helicopter was incredibly fast. In no time, Louis and his group arrived at the mansion of the Astor family.

It was a villa complex located in the city center, an estate that housed the most elite residents of Celestria, the most prosperous city in the country.

Louis looked out of the helicopter window. With his extraordinary vision, he could clearly see the scene below the estate.

There were many guards stationed outside the main gate, but upon seeing the snake emblem on the helicopter, they almost immediately stepped aside.

Observing this scene, Louis couldn't help but curl his lips into a slight smile.

He knew well that this was the place the Smith family had always dreamed of reaching.

They hoped that one day their company would thrive and allow them to join the ranks of the city's wealthiest.

But to be honest, considering Mr. Smith's capabilities and the potential of the Smith company, Louis felt that the chances of that happening were very slim.

The helicopter quickly landed on a large open space within the grounds of a luxurious villa.

To call it a villa complex would be an understatement; it was more like a secluded estate.

As the helicopter touched down, the strong wind caused the surrounding trees to sway incessantly.

Ariana, ignoring the fact that Louis was dirty, grabbed his hand directly and pulled him out of the helicopter.

Nearby, a black Maybach had been waiting for them for a long time.

Ariana looked at Louis, smiled, and said, "Get in the car. I'll take you home."

Home? Louis murmured the word "home" once more in his mind.

Was it true that he now had a home? Everything was happening so quickly, it felt like a dream...

Seeing Louis in a daze, Ariana couldn't help but smile a little, then directly pulled him into the car.

The car moved incredibly fast, partly due to the wide, unobstructed road.

It quickly stopped at a large open area that seemed like an intersection of different roads.

Before Louis could comprehend what was happening, Alice had already stood up and gotten out of the car.

Ariana looked at her, keeping a bright smile on her face, "Thank you, Alice."

Alice nodded, her face still cold, but her attitude towards Ariana was noticeably softer.

"It's nothing, goodbye," she said, then turned and walked to her car without glancing at Louis even once.

Louis, on the other hand, continued to watch her retreating figure, or more precisely, the halo that seemed to surround Alice.

Ariana turned her head and saw her brother staring blankly after Alice. She couldn't help but laugh a little.

Her laughter snapped Louis out of his daze, and he looked at Ariana with an embarrassed expression.

He didn't feel the need to explain, having realized that only he could see the halo around Alice.

Ariana patted Louis on the shoulder and said, "Alice needs to go home, but she lives quite close to us. Don't worry, I'll take you to visit her soon."

She paused and then teased, "But Alice is really cold. Her coldness might hurt you, my poor brother."

Louis smiled and said nothing more.

The car quickly started moving, and about five minutes later, it stopped in front of a very large mansion with a classical style.

It was hard to determine how many floors the mansion had, not only because of its height but also due to its intricate and meticulous design.

Decorative statues, featuring serpents and creatures like lions with bird bodies, adorned many parts of the mansion, capturing the viewer's attention.

The design of this mansion was vastly different from any other mansions Louis had seen online or even within this estate.

Ariana seemed to notice where Louis's attention was focused and smiled as she explained, "The Astor family's main mansion has been around for a very long time. We don't even know when it was built. The designs on the walls were left by our ancestors, and we cannot remove or alter them, so they have always remained this way."

She paused, then looked Louis straight in the eyes, her expression serious as she said each word clearly, "Louis, promise me you will always respect everything about this mansion, okay?"

Ariana's voice echoed in Louis's ears.

At that moment, Louis felt as if the mansion was emitting some strange energy that attracted him.

He almost couldn't resist asking Ariana if she also knew about the mysteries of the world, like magic.

However, he held back, knowing that some secrets could only be buried within one's heart.

Ariana had resumed smiling and led the way into the mansion, speaking as she walked, "I've told you a lot already, Louis. I hope you won't be overwhelmed when you meet our family. After all, this is a large family. You understand what I mean, right?"

Louis didn't say a word, but Ariana didn't add anything further either.

On the way back, Ariana had told Louis many things about the Astor family, about the family's economic power, and the status of the family members.

Louis knew that the Astor family was the wealthiest and most powerful family in the country, and naturally, the members of the Astor family were not ordinary people.

Perhaps not everyone in this house would welcome his return. But Louis didn't feel that he would be hurt by those who were not welcoming.

At the very least, he could sense that Ariana's affection for him was genuine, and that was enough.

The large doors opened, and the crystal lights illuminated the exterior.

The room was lavishly yet modestly decorated, with items that clearly reflected the passage of time.

As soon as Louis entered, he felt numerous eyes staring intently at him. He glanced around and saw many people seated around a large table.

They were all looking at him, and Louis could clearly sense their varied emotions.

Some were genuinely happy, some curious, some disdainful, and some hiding their discomfort.

Finally, his gaze fell on the head of the table, where an elderly man with a white beard was sitting, his eyes stern and somewhat cold as he looked at Louis.

Yet, Louis could feel that this man was the most welcoming towards him in this place.

They looked at each other until Ariana spoke up, "Louis, greet everyone."

Obediently, Louis nodded and bowed, saying, "Hello everyone, I am Louis. I hope you can help me in the future."
