OPERATION VULTURE STRIKE

Those twenty-four hours were a crucial time for any people escaping the zombies. Governments sent aid to help in clearing those who remained, as many were unlucky to have been reached by the zombies first.

It was an affair that could not be helped much, especially in situations where the choice was hard. Sometimes, the helicopters and planes got so full that some people had to be left behind to the mercy of the approaching zombies, and others were too slow to get to the waiting aid.

There were even more pathetic situations, like one where the two waiting aeroplanes were only yards away from the zombies and the people rushing for help. Pilots of both vehicles decided to wait for the people to get in, until one got so full and waited so long that even the zombies started to climb in. Nothing matched the terror that those already in felt the aircraft refused to move, suffering a technical fault at the wrong time.
