WHAT DEAD PEOPLE LOOK LIKE

It took the duo that was Kevin and Max a lot of effort to convince the girl to join them as sobs racked her body over the death of the boy they had found her with.

She remained where Kevin let her fall, shedding tears on the ground while the two men looked on, the killer unmoved — convinced that he had done what was absolutely necessary to save themselves from a man with an infected leg and the rest of the world from an extra zombie, while the other man looked as though he would join the girl in crying for the boy.

“Was he your boyfriend?” Max asked, not without being spared a deathly glare from the other man, however.

She shook her head.

“Did you guys fuck?”

Again, she shook her head, too immersed in her misery to see Max raise his eyebrows and then roll his eyes at Kevin.

“You should come with us.” Kevin told her. “We are just trying to save ourselves from the apocalypse, and don't want to leave you here alone with the zombies.”
