Easton opened his eyes to find Daxton staring at him.

"You are awakened, so what is your plan?" Daxton asked with a straight face, his hands folded under his muscular chest.Easton couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with him.

"Why do you have such a stern face on,you should be happy that I am finally awakened,that is if you know what that is" Easton said,it was always known for Daxton to keep a straight expression on his face,it was definitely a rare chance to see him smile but he wasn't cold he just didn't understand how to express those emotions.

"But I am happy for you," Daxton said and Easton shook his head

"Don't trouble yourself for my cultivation I think it would be best if I just move along with you to the mountains,"

"That will be—" the bell rang,it was time to gather at the Moment Site,normally new students at the academy would get there in five days which meant they wouldn't be called to attend.

Easton never bothered to go because transporting himself to the site would a lot of power and it would take him over a year to recover,if he did go there he would probably stay there forever

"You are coming along with me?" Daxton asked,he had just gotten awakened it would probably not be that easy to go to the site.

"Yes, I have greater spiritual power than you think," "I already know the technique," Easton said, getting a nod from Daxton.Daxton rose to his feet, he was already soaring in the sky,Easton rose slowly but fell down.

"Do you think you can do it?"

"Should I help you?"Daxton asked though he was worried no emotions were shown on his face.

"No, I definitely will be able to do it," Easton said,he sounded confident even people who had practised for over a year didn't even have his kind of confidence.It was his first time but he seemed as confident as an Ace even Daxton failed to perform it sometimes. He made another trial,he was just a few steps away from Daxton but he fell down again,he brought out his sword and placed it down he was able to make it levitate,he climbed on the sword and soared to the sky.

"I can't believe you actually did that but you can't go far with that sword," Daxton warned that basic knowledge about cultivation was something he would do as he was staying with Easton.

"I know that" Immediately he soared to the sky and summoned the sword to his hands,Daxton couldn't help but feel proud a side of lips rose to a side he was smirking.

They weren't making a glamorous intrusion, they were the last to arrive at the site,there was no one present to announce yet.

Everyone turned their face to witness their entrance,no one could hide the surprise in their face to see Easton there where did he get the nerve to come here in fact how exactly did he even come here.

"You really delayed him!" Someone shouted from the crowd it was Kayson he just had an issue with Easton he used every chance to hate him.

"What is your concern with him?" Easton asked,Kayson walked closer to him he looked as if he would push him by the shoulder but he got the cat eyes after all why bother.

He transformed his eyes immediately and Easton pushed him away "You can't stand it ?" Kayson said with a smirk.

Easton was really timid "How did you even get here?" "You held on to Daxton on your way here" All the people present laughed at him,they were making fun of Easton, Daxton fist folded slowly in anger.

"The way you can't think,I remember you got here through your brother's sword hope your butt didn't hurt from falling too much," Easton said leading a campaign of laughter Kayson eyes burned with anger how dare he disrespect him like that.

"At least I can handle a sword. What can you do?" Kayson asked "You can't even cast the most basic spell," Kayson added what right does he think he has to insult him.

"Are you sure about that?" "Do you want to test it out," Easton asked, making Kayson smirk and walk closer to him.

"Show me," Kayson said when they both turned forward.

"You can test each when the mission starts," Karen said.

"This is the annual mountain climbing mission,there is a boundary between the beast area and the cultivation part,the mission is to destroy and kill at least twenty monsters and the highest fifty monsters." Karen said.

"He probably won't be able to do it," Kayson shouted, referring to Easton.

"Please don't downgrade your mates,Kayson he wouldn't be able to get here if he doesn't have good powers he would not even be able to get here that is why the standards are so high," Karen asked.

"You will all be grouped into a group of five,you will pick from the draw good luck with your mission," Karen said and left immediately.

All the students present in the place went forward to draw their cards, luckily Daxton was in the same group with Easton.Kayson was also grouped into another place.

Among Easton's group consisted of Layla,Kate, Hector and Daxton; they all gathered together and walked into the mountains together;they weren't expected to spend over a day there.

"We don't have to finish the mission, we should just focus on the cultivation," Easton said and all of them nodded as if they had the same idea when they came here.

A deer walked past them and they both followed the deer. It seemed to have sensed a presence because he immediately turned,it looked like something worthy to be presented to the emperor.It was a white shining skin. Its horns stood out like they were a born crown on his head.

"Can we capture it as a tribute?" Daxton asked if he really was brave; he didn't bother to ask how old the deer looked or how powerful it could be; he just focused on what he was going to do to it.

"That is a thousand old deer, how do you expect the emperor to tame it," Easton said he seemed as if he had read his mind,Daxton seemed to shrug after he had his reply,he was ready to pounce at the deer but he halted.

"It is a thousand years old, I can't kill it like that," He thought and took another stance. He made an ice ball with his hands,turned it into spears and it charged towards the seer, surprisingly the seer didn't even bother to move.

'I guess my speculation was right' Easton thought,the deer really didn't know what was coming for him, immediately the ice spear got closer to the deer they started to encircle around him,just at that moment it realised that he was tricked the ice spears weren't targeted at him to kill him but to entrap him.

He could only do the only thing he knew. He tried to fly up to the sky but he was hit by an invisible barrier instead,he bounced back and fell.

"How did that work?" Daxton asked in awe, Easton never really fails to amaze him,it was his first sight of seeing attacking a deer like that.

"The ice spear was just a distraction,each of the spear was actually forged with an enclosure since the start, immediately the spears got near to the deer he was already trapped,"

"Then why didn't it run?" Daxton asked,even if the ice spears were already enchanted he should have ran seeing that the spears were targeted at him.

"His element is water and he even trained specifically on that didn't you feel the chills when we came in?"

"So even if ice spears were targeted at him he should be able to control it,he is a thousand years old beast after all"

"Moreover he should be able to transform very soon,he was probably too proud to run" Easton brought out an orb and absorbed it.

"You forced us to accept you as a leader now what?" "Are you planning to leave us?" Clara asked,she was in the same team with Kayson,who forced them to listen to every one of his commands now he was telling them to forsake the mission and find Easton.

"Don't you understand who a leader is?" "You are supposed to follow every one of my instructions," Kayson said, screaming at the top of his voice the audacity she had to question him.

"We didn't even choose you as a leader ,why should we follow you?" Clinton said,Finally someone else decided to speak up,the arrogance he had.

A leader should be selected and if not at least respectful,why was he here spewing nonsense and thinking he was right.

"Well, that's because I have the power to,the power to destroy your entire family at one go,the power to make you not even participate in the annual competition. Do you want to try me?" Kayson asked giving him a death stare,if he had a sword with him, Clinton would be dead by now.

“Your parents only got power because of your elder brother who left and got a good position in the palace,rather than bragging here,you should focus on at least making it into the imperial palace,”

“Unlike you my brother has the potential to become the imperial advisor,” Clinton said and walked with about two people following him along, leaving him alone with Richard who was ready to stay with Kayson like a slave at all times.

He had really low poweress even though he had already been awakened but he wasn't overly confident like Easton. He just wanted his family to have a good life when he goes back home.

“Are you planning to go to the cultivation site?” Daxton asked, noticing that Easton kept advancing forward.

“Of course do you think I came here to use the beast to cultivate my martial arts?” “I think I have trained a lot on that already,”

“Are you planning to leave without telling them?” “And moreover the latest person to enter the cultivation site was from a thousand years ago. Are you sure you can do it?” Daxton asked,though he lived with Easton, his kind of confidence would take over years to install in his head.

“We should meet at where we planned those who wish to come along will,” “Others haven't been able to get to the cultivation site because they mostly didn't even know where it was located they depended too much on their poweress”

“I however have the map imprinted in my brain. I will definitely be able to enter the cultivation site,” Easton explained.

“Look who wants to get to the cultivation site!?”
