Adam the Spirit Master
Adam the Onmyōji is a story series that chronicled the adventures of Adam Wong Takahashi, a spirit master or Onmyoji at the revered sect Tenmen So.
Trained in the craft of exorcism and gifted with the powers to communicate, control, and vanquish spirits from the other supernatural realms, Adam has been enlisted by the police to help them to crack many mysterious cases.
With his powers, Adam is roped in by the police in to solve a new mystery.
The story starts with a mysterious, and horrifying, death at the home of a Singapore tycoon. The death shook the police who swiftly swung into full-scale investigation. However, the victim’s clobbered demise drove police veteran Assistant Superintendent Visnu to suspect there may be supernatural forces at work, to enlist the help of Adam Wong to join the investigation.
Adam's initial investigation led him to an unnerving encounter with an unknown dark and ominous spirit, lurking in the perimeters of the Chua Mansion. He was twice attacked and defeated as he moved from the human realm to the supernatural world to exorcise the dark spirit.
Faced with a deadly foe, he enlisted the support of his fellow Onmyōji, Kelly Nishimura. Together, they began a deep investigation into the history of the mansion in a bid to quell the rise of darkness.
As they plowed on, Adam found that his investigation gradually led him to discover a dark secret that threatened to tear apart the tycoon’s family.
With dogged determination and his powers, Adam eventually discovered the cause of the deadly murder and resolved a decades-old mystery bringing peace and reconciliation.
Book One promises to be a page-turning journey for the reader, serving up a story filled with nail-biting action, intrigue, and love.
