It was pointless to remain in that small cave so Azem led Mira and Leiu to the mermaid kingdom, which, despite the name, was composed of only one mesmerizing city. The architecture used was unique and totally different from anything the two humans had ever seen. The houses and large buildings were made from colored granite, very flashy and pleasing to the eyes.  Also, despite being deep underwater, this city was illuminated by the sun rays, though Azem did not specify, he did say that it was the work of an artifact. As they were guided to the Mermaids’ haven, Azem was kind enough to answer some of their questions and talk about the situation here. After hearing the conversation between the three suspicious black-haired mermaids, Leiu did not remain there any longer, he returned to Azem’s house and thought things through.  He decided to maintain obliviousness, at least for now, he deemed it as the safest option. There is no way of knowing when Lanna and her ‘friends’ will make a move or if they’re even going to do something.
