Just like before his regression, Leiu found himself in a world of primordial darkness when the timer had reached zero. The sky was lacking any stars, it was a mass of ominous blackness that stretched as far as the eye could see. The ground wasn’t any different either, it was jet black and made from an unknown material. Basically, everywhere the Dark Knight looked, there was naught but the same darkness, making him feel slightly stressed. When he had been here for the first time, he didn’t pay much attention to his surroundings.. he only wanted to die so he wandered aimlessly. Now, however, he needs to tread with caution and make sure that the Infested Spawn do not ambush him, as is their wont. The Burning Jar Armor piece was doing its job perfectly. Instantly, Leiu’s defense and attack power were dramatically boosted, allowing him to survive the incoming projectiles, which were continuously shot by the big Infesped Spawn.Actually, Leiu had a strong hunch; The big one must be an Elite Monster, which is a powerful variation of normal monsters… larger health pools, stronger physiques, and the addition of many a skill. Although Elite Monsters are weaker than bosses, they still can be extremely dangerous, even to a group of cooperative players. In addition to using [Blackened Heart], [Song of the Ox], and [Tainted Blood], the Dark Knight consumed the Strength and Good Sense Potions, the former significantly increasing his Strength while the latter sharpened his five senses while also applying a small stat buff.With all the buffs activate

The Dark Knight had already lost track of time, his feet kept leading his onward. He solely relied on the helpful Silk Effect to navigate the Night World and make sure he’s not going around in circles.  The encounters with the Infested Spawn continued and, by now, it seemed to be purposely periodic. After each fight, he’ll walk for thirty to forty minutes then he’ll be attacked… the process ceased to be thrilling and had become boring. He had memorized the beasts’ tactics and their commonly used attacks, which ranged from leaping at him to slashing with their claws or biting with their poisonous fangs. The fights become so easy that he no longer needed to rely on skills to kill them. <

Although Amon’s speed was praise-worthy, it didn’t make things any better for Leiu. The ride was uncomfortable as the horse was galloping on a spiraling staircase that seemed to lead all the way to the top of the tower. The distance separating the horse and the unicorn were slowly but surely decreasing, however, Amon was showing clear signs of fatigue. Nevertheless, he persevered and mustered all his strength, surprisingly using a skill. Leiu’s vision was suddenly covered by a burst of darkness, lasting for a split second. When he regained his sight, he found himself and Amon in front of the running unicorn.  Apparently, Amon used a teleportation skill, allowing him to bypass his target.
