Chapter 131: A calm time of Dining, before the Storm
It didn’t take quite too long for the rest of the members to start nudging their eyes open. It was Elyenora who managed to pry Sereia’s eyes open first.“Ugh…” the swords lady mumbled under her nose, opening her eyes as she barely stood up to a sitting position. “What the hell happened…”“Rise and shine,” Elyenora stood crouching beside her, watching as the woman held her head with a hand. “Everyone kinda got forced asleep, we’re on the fifth floor now by the way.”“Huh?” Sereia tilted her head to the side, more confused now than three seconds ago.“The fifth floor?” Lanos stood up, seemingly without feeling groggy, unlike the others. “How’d we get here? And also...” Lanos turned towards Mon’Ter, who was working on getting Namir to wake up too. “Since when did the chimera grow wings? And horns… And an arm…&rdq

Chapter 132: Moving past the hallway, in a room so...
The party of six marched on into the not so grand hallway leading from the dining hall. It looked ancient in comparison to the well kept area from before, with moss growing on the walls and cracks at each second step. There weren’t any cobwebs to be seen, insects and the like simply don’t nor can wander down here. It’s an isolated space, after all. Sereia suddenly piped up. “How long is this hallway, anyway?” “How would we know?” Samuel turned her way. She played with her hair a bit before speaking. “I dunno, you were being all knowledgeable about the dungeon at the entrance, weren’t you?” Samuel halted his march and mumbled. “Sereia…” “Yes?” she stopped next to him as well. He gave her a concerned gaze and placed his hand on her shoulder. “Is your head okay?” “Huh?” she raised a brow at him. “The hell is that supposed to mean?” “Well, you see, we’re the first people to clear the third floor, let alone reach the fifth…

Chapter 133: The Corrupted Son, of Spiritus Mora. A Final Battle in the caves of Lydia begins!
Lanos’ mouth went agape at the sight, he nearly forgot to breathe as he spoke. “That… Is Lord Spiritus Mora’s son?” “What has become of him at least,” Elyenora added, brandishing her rapier in front of her. She felt a cold sweat form at her brow, even before the enemy had stood up to stand before them the princess knew just how outmatched she was in a one versus one. Sereia, on the other hand, froze up, smiling while staring at the monster of a spirit before them. “Can I just go home?” “Shush,” Samuel put his hand on her shoulder. “It’ll be fine, we’re the ones making the attack this time and we’re also all prepared.” “Speak for yourself! I’m not prepared at all!” Sereia blurted out, pointing at the black sun. “Please do not tell me that’s a King Class corrupted spirit!” Samuel grimaced, biting his lip. “I don’t know its class… But...” “Might not be far off,” Namir finished for him, his eyes glowing brightly. “Spiritus Finis, currently

Chapter 134: Trump Card of the Elvish Duo.
Finis gazed at his challengers, his golden light of an eye fluctuating amidst the lightless flames covering him from head to toe. He was like a torch that sucked light away rather than giving it off; he was the epitome of a corruptee. “What’s our next move now?” Sereia quizzed, her brows furrowed deeply, with her hands clenching tightly on the blade. “Would you be mad if I said I didn’t know?” Samuel grimaced, he held not an ounce of ideas for how to attack now. “The bastard might’ve actually reached King Class after absorbing that thing…” “I can confirm,” Elyenora’s voice cracked. “He did, most certainly, reach King Class after that… I’ve never seen a stronger soul in my life… Nor a darker one...” Sereia turned towards Elyenora. “So what? Are you saying we’re doomed here?” “Not necessarily,” Lanos glanced toward Namir. The kid gave him a confused look back, raising a brow at him whilst asking. “What? Why are you looking at me like tha

Chapter 135: Battle against Finis, Samuel takes Action.
The five of them laid unmoving with auras surging through their every pore. Magic so powerful it caused gales of wind to implode in the surroundings solely from them standing where they were. It was an impressive sight, and an impressive feeling for them each.“Whoa…” Sereia raised her hands, looking at them. Sword in one whilst the other remained empty. “This is awesome…”“Yes…” Elyenora herself couldn’t believe the incoming surges of prowess. Stamina and energy she could only dream of at the tip of her fingers. “Namir’s spell is simply… Undeniably… Intoxicating.”“I told you,” Lanos smirked. “I hate to admit it too but, I’ve longed for this again.”“Don’t get used to it!” Namir made sure to add once more. “And do go get him as fast as magically possible!”“Right on!” Sereia clenched

Chapter 136: Samuel's New Strength, and the True Danger of Finis.
“Sam?!” Elyenora shouted at the man oozing with insanity. “Hahahaha!” Samuel continued to laugh. “Oh, how I’ve longed for the day I have the strength to use nuclear destruction magic!” “Samuel!” Elyenora called out again, moving up to him. But he on kept laughing. And laughing, and laughing. As if nothing around him mattered other than the strength he came to possess. So she slapped him. “Samuel!” He got immensely taken aback by that. “W-What?” “Do not go crazy on us!” Elyenora pointed at his nose with her index finger, showing him a rather mean look and a pout. “I am not crazy!” Samuel defended himself, swinging his hand to the side while placing the other at his chest. “I’ve finally done it, Ely! I’ve achieved the thing I needed for so long! The thing I only found out was possible after meeting Namir! That same thing I should have known my eyes would be capable of with just a slight push forward! This is my very own specialty

Chapter 137: How to advance forward?
“Tag team?” Elyenora questioned, her head tilting to the side, then shaking it. “I don’t like that idea.”Mon’Ter glanced at her. “Well there aren’t many other options, are there?”“Not now, but we could…” Elyenora began, only to be cut short.“There are no buts,” Mon’Ter rebuked. “Anyone other than me would die against him when he uses that time ability, Samuel has a few cards to play which would lead to him evading being targeted altogether. You three don’t.”“So you just mean to leave us in the barrier?!” Lanos thundered, moving up to Mon’Ter and looking up at him. “No, I’m fighting.”“How?” Mon’Ter asked him. “How will you fight when he can make it so you can’t move and then cut your head off?”“How will you fight when he cuts Your head off?” Lanos

Chapter 138: The Phoenix Rises
Mon’Ter stood at the edge of the vast cosmos opened by the corruption. His two eyes hawking on the far off Finis as they both held their standoff.“He’s not coming,” Mon’Ter mumbled, narrowing his gaze.“Probably just wary of you,” Samuel said whilst floating on the side and standing in a barrier. “You do have one of your arms back and a completely different physique than before, after all, he’s probably wondering about you.”“True,” Mon’Ter tilted his head. “So what? How do I bring him back here?”“Seems like the only way is to go to him, but…” Samuel gazed at the vast abyss. “I’m not sure treading past here is something living beings are meant to do…”“Well there isn’t much choice in the matter,” Mon’Ter said. “Our whole reason for being here is to purify that guy, if he thinks he can

Chapter 139: Mon'Ter and Samuel decimate Finis
‘Impossible…’ Finis thought to himself. ‘How could he…?’The deathly knight flew across the cosmos, farther and farther away from the approaching Phoenix that had become of Mon’Ter. His thoughts wandered anew, as his glittering eye of gold flickered endlessly. ‘How could he simply cut through my blade? Flames, and all?’Mon’Ter bared his teeth, swinging his left arm of flame with the might of a thousand suns, its crimson fire burning at the adversary as it neared.‘I can’t… Dodge!’ Finis’ mind fluttered into a panic, and thus, he used his ability. In an instant, the attacking Mon’Ter had been cleaved in twain from the chest down, the raging black flames burning his torso away into ashes while Finis stood more than a kilometer away, his sword looking brand new.‘That should have…’ Finis breathed a sigh of relief, he turned around to

Chapter 140: Final Confrontation
“Sam!” Elyenora came running up to the snarky mage. He was standing near the perfect cube which he had created to be an arena for the two combatants.“What happened to those two?” she asked worriedly, gazing at the structure still engulfed in chaotic energies from within. “Oh, hey Ely,” Samuel turned to her and the others approaching him. “You’re just in time to see the show.”As he spoke his words, the scenery inside the cube cleared, revealing that Mon’Ter had pinned Finis against the floor in one of the corners. His flaming left hand pushed against the deathly knight’s shattered sword, or at least what Mon’Ter had left of it. Now only the black fire sprouting from his hilt could protect him, but alas for how long?Finis’ armor had been covered in cracks all over, some deep, others outright fallen off and or incinerated. What his body revealed was simply a mass of black fire, p
