Everybody sat down in silence for a moment before Aku decided to start the briefing. But just as he was about to speak, he halted, his expression changing into a tight frown. Found you!”Bang!As if an explosion had set off, everybody felt like their minds were being bombarded with missiles or like having a hammer forcefully knocked on their heads and driving a sharp nail into their minds.Everybody felt their noses bleed as terrible illusions assaulted their minds under the influence of the voice. The illusions were of bloody scenes of carnage and death, with horrendous monstrosities rearing their heads in people's minds as if to devour them. Realistic images of worlds being destroyed and consumed and lives being massacred in droves in a culling of unimaginable proportions appeared

The barrier surrounding the outpost was normally invisible when in an idle state. Only when it became activated would it become a visible golden color, with flashing runes all around it.When attacked, depending on the strength of the attack, the outpost barrier would flash brightly as it resisted any attacks directed at it. Currently, the golden color of the barrier had turned into a blinding flash of brightness that lit up the surrounding dark void around the outpost like a small sun chasing away the darkness. This directly showed just how powerful Kasack’s psychic attack was.Another wave of panic spread throughout the outpost as the attack ended. Countless more people collapsed on the ground, frothing from their mouths after the sudden attack following the last one. Thankfully, nobody died this time. That is because Captain Mei had managed to react in time to reinforce the outpost’s barrier, diverting most of the outpost’s spare energy into it so it could resist the psychic attack
