156. Getting Familiar
BLINK!Lekan winced as bright light flashed into his eye. Instinctively, his hands positioned right in front of of him to block the intense flow of light. With that in place and his vision slowly adjusting back to normal, he saw a face staring at him.Startled, he gasped, rising to his feet. Or at least, to a sitting position. To his dismay, the face followed him, now standing up to look at him. It was obvious, due to how the position changed that this person had been kneeling to watch him all along. And that was strange. Why would anyone stand there to watch over him? While it felt good in a way but at the same time, it had something very odd about it. Something he could not place. More so, there was the tingling sense of danger that kept on ringing in the back of his head. What if he ran into trouble?
