Chapter 12
It was in the evening and the sun had already set but still due to the sky refraction, the land was somehow visible. Osei stood under a tree suspiciously facing right and left. Suddenly from a distance, a man walked to Osei. The man asked, “What are you doing here?”Osei again faced right and left looking as anybody was watching. After it was all clear, nobody was passing by; he pulled the man closer to him to be safer and pulled a dagger out of his back. The dagger was the one that he had hide in his heart that had some bloodstains. Osei said, “Take this I don’t want it.” The man before taking the dagger he responded,“Cool down what’s wrong?”“I was nearly killed because of this dagger.”“How was it known?”“It’s a long story just take it away.”The man took the dagger to cool down Osei who was burning and responded, “Ok, it is now in my hand now tell me how was it was known?” Osei still talk in a state of tensing he responded, “Nobody knew it but it was suspected to another story.”

In the morning, the sun was halfway rise from the mountains peaks. The only sound heard on the riverside was that of the water flowing. At a tree beside the river, Mayra sat under a tree supporting her back on the tree stem. Ofori stood in the dark side of the cave silently watching Mayra and Owusu as they walked away until they both vanished from his sight.Deep into the cave, a rat moved all around sniffing the ground. As the rat moved, it reached where Osei was lying on the ground unconsciously. There was an open wound on his forehead where the rat started licking the wound.Osei due to the irritation on his head he slowly open his eyes walking out of his unconscious state. After fully opening his eyes he realize something was eating his fore head where moved his hand to the wound that scared the rat away. He then pulled back his hand to his sight where he noticed it was bloody.Osei weakly sat upright grunting and gently holding the back of his head due to pain. Osei was slowly walking out of the cave holding a flaming torch. Immediately he walked out of the cave the darkness that had to fall over the land stuck him confusing him more. Looking confused of how to go back home, he paused looking at the wide full moon that was shining in the sky.Suddenly behind him, he heard some strange movement coming from the cave. Looking astonished, he turned to the deep side of the cave and slowly started walking backward as the strange movements were moving closer to the exit of the house. After some few steps off the cave, thousands of bats flew of the cave as he faced them in shock.Next day in the morning, people were busy moving up and down on the community ground. It was early in the morning the due was still on the leaves of the tree in the forest. Under the tree, Mayra stopped her rushing while caring some things in a bag. Before doing anything, she turned left and right to confirm nobody was watching her. Immediately she saw, the environment was all clear she placed the bag on the ground.She first opened the bag where she removed her book to a page that was drawn alchemy drawings. She placed the book on the ground where she took of a golden kettle. She stood still as she was holding the kettle moved aside. Then using the blood in the kettle she poured on the ground making an alchemy sigh of fire.After the drawing, she placed back the kettle where out of the bag she removed a cow skull. It was late at night and the full moon was shining in the sky. Deep in the woods, some men on long similar clocks had gathering around. The men were also masks of different animal’s skulls. In the cave ceiling, a blowhole that stretched the sunlight ray reached to the ground. The sunlight ray landed on some unfinished pieces of an apple.
