Tears
Earl sat with his stats open in front of him. All were significantly higher than as far back as he could remember, but he didn't have any problems with that. What he wanted to address was the 195 unread system messages. So he wasted no time in addressing them. The first ten to twenty messages were very similar. They were repeated messages of having a system error, the system trying to reboot, failing to reboot, and then trying all over again. The next twenty messages were messages of successful rebooting, but failing to start up.The next thirty messages were messages of the system manually rebooting and restricting certain sections of the system. The next thirty messages were a lot more concerning. They were off his resistance stat resisting different poisons, as well as some of his spiritual energy being consumed to increase his stamina, strength, and resistance stat specifically to increase his chances of survival. With that, he had made it past his first hundred unread messages.T

Origins
Earl, still overcome with Grief and sadness was hit with a bit of shock and confusion when he heard what his dad had said."Earl White, your alchemy is Greed"To be fair, Earl had never really understood just what exactly his alchemy was or how it worked, but frankly he didn't care much.As someone who'd lived without alchemy nearly all his life, getting an alchemy was all that really mattered to him.He never really cared about how or why, all he wanted was to become an Alchemist. He named his alchemy White Alchemy on the fly without even knowing what his alchemy was or how it worked, and he always wondered and found it strange how the system had just asked him to name his alchemy without even knowing what it was.But like earlier mentioned he'd never really cared. The mere fact of getting an alchemy just overwhelmed him to the point where he was completely happy just having one without knowing how it worked. He could do an AP shot, Bang, and he knew that his alchemy form was clouds,

Capture and the root of the storm
Sidney rode faster and faster on the back of Gy, trying desperately to catch up with the ORA agent."I'll capture you at any cost," he said to himself while going as fast as he could. The ORA agent turned back and locked eyes with Sidney, "I'm being followed!?" He grunted while sprinting. The distance was closing fast between the two, it was only a matter of time before Sidney would catch up with him."Wait... I've seen that kid before! It's the one from Welgrid!" He grunted before dipping his hand into his pockets, pulling out a walkie talkie."Come in Alpha," there was a slight buzz on the walkie talkie, but eventually someone responded, "what is it Bravo?" "I'm being pursued by the Dragon Bandits, and they've got one of the kids from Welgrid with them.""Did you say a kid from Welgrid? As in Wallace's academy?" He turned behind him to confirm, "yes, it's definitely one of them!""And what's more it's the failure of project zero, I've clashed with him before," he said with a grunt i

The power of mind alchemy
Sidney stood his ground, gasping with his arms in front of him and his feet dug into the floor beneath them.Blood ran down the side of his head. His stomach churned, he could barely open one of his eyes from the excessive swelling , his nose was bloody, his mouth was bloody... Still, he was standing. He stood there, his gaze fixed to his opponent. "Think Sidney," he said to himself, "how the heck does this guy's alchemy work?" His opponent in question, sewn-mouth, was completely unscathed—aside from the initial blows and damage Sidney managed to land and incur. He stood with a smile on his face, "what was that about you only leaving a hand undamaged? Something about you beating me?" He laughed.Sidney remained quiet with a straight look on his face. "This makes no sense. I have no idea how he's doing it... He says a word and then I find myself beaten on the floor," thought Sidney. He held out his bloody thumb dripping with blood and waved it violently at his opponent. The blood flew

Winning and the fate of the bandits
By using the ants that he summoned as a sort of auto zapper for himself, Sidney could finally keep up with sewn-mouth.He did this by issuing a small command to all of his ants on his arm, the moment he stopped moving or his brainwaves stopped or slowed down for whatever reason, they would explode one by one till he began moving again. This was his ultimate plan. This way whether or not he could bypass it with self-inflicted pain or by not being able to hear his command, he would bypass his spell one way or another.Sidney rushed out towards sewn-mouth with his arm thrown back. He stopped right in front of him and planted his feet on the floor. He swung hard at sewn-mouth, their two fists clashed in a heavy test of strength. Sidney's small frame up against the hulking figure of the ORA agent. The two hand a short standoff."This kid's strength!... I'm semi-king tier when it comes to strength, and this kid is matching me after being beaten so badly!?" Thought sewn-mouth.Sidney threw

Raid on Team Alpha commence
Annie dug her heels and blasted forward at her opponent. The man readied his brass knuckles and threw his arm back.Annie then dug her hands in one of her pockets and pulled out a piece of paper. He grunted before raising both arms, forming an X to block the strike.Annie slammed it right onto her opponent, he gritted his teeth waiting for whatever effect the talisman carried to activate. But nothing happened.Annie zoomed past him and ran straight at his downed comrade on the floor, recovering and preparing to use his alchemy on her.The man removed the supposed talisman from his arm and saw that it wasn't a talisman at all. It was just a piece of paper. One that looked like a talisman. He turned around and saw Annie running straight at his comrade, "shit!!" He thought as he instantly bolted in that direction. His comrade had his eyes clothes and his hands together, like he was conducting a prayer of some sorts."DODGE!!!" he yelled a

Tyger's match
The air was cold. It was a cold morning. The sound of cheering Drakemen filled the air. In the middle of the arena stood two people. The first was Tyger, standing in the middle of the arena with nothing but his fists. The other was a Drakeman, one that was familiar. From his sly demeanor, to his huge grin on his face, it was clear who it was. Though Tyger couldn't tell exactly, it was the impression he got off of him.The head prisoner. The one who shoved Earl's face into his plate of food after spitting in it. He was despicable by all definitions of the word.A lot of different Drakemen warriors were stationed inside the battle grounds, including Kipple."Welcome once again to another match between prisoners of the pit!" The announcer's voice rang through the arena."Today's match is a special one..." He said. The crowds cheered loudly, waiting in anticipation as they watched the two combatants.Tyger held up his fists and looked at his opponent, Skull, the most despicable Drakeman h

Earl's mind, Tyger's body
Earl sat in the middle of his cell. His eyes almost dead, void of life, his hair scattered and messy... It hadn't been combed in days. His teeth beginning to brown, his body reeking from weeks without a bath. But all that didn't matter to him, not right now, he didn't care at all.He sat silently with a look of despair and hopelessness on his face. His mouth moved slightly, repeating a single line over and over."I killed my mother""I killed my mother""I killed my mother"The reality he'd learnt still hadn't left him. The origins of his system, the way it was created, why it was created, he knew the bitter truth now.He was the cause. He was the virus. He was the sickness. He was a murderer even before he was born.Throughout he's life he'd grown up thinking that his mother died from a severe incurable illness and his father suffered a similar fate. He'd realised that wasn't the truth halfway through his first year, when he realised that his father died giving him a system and prote

Earl's second match
Kipple was seated outside the cell. He'd been carried there by his fellow Drakemen warriors after they'd managed to calm him down. His blood still boiled from the words and actions of Skull, but he was calmer now. He could keep his revenge for another day.For now he just sat outside of the cell, listening to Earl and Tyger's conversation. That's when a thought crossed his mind, or rather he remembered something. The bruise on Skull's arm after the match. Tyger managed to damage Skull... He really did.Even another time when Tyger punched Kipple in the face, he got a nosebleed from it even though Tyger shouldn't have been able to damage him at all."I think you can use it Tyger," he said, "the devil's magic?" Asked Tyger, "no, Hiori."The cell went silent. Both Earl and Tyger immediately sat up with shock on their faces, "what?" they both asked in sync."Hiori, I think Tyger might be able to use it," said Kipple, "Me?" "Him?" Said Tyger and Earl. Kipple sat silently, not answering any

The crowd had changed. The once-silent atmosphere with members of the crowd unsure of who to cheer for, now filled the arena with cheers. And who could blame them? The battle that ensued was intense. Earl the human and Polka the Drakeman had started their battle mere moments ago, and the tension riled them up.Who would win the clash? The scorn of the Drakeman, or the terrifying human? The two now stood opposite one another, pacing in a circle slowly, each sizing up the other.Polka drove his heels into the floor and launched at Earl, throwing his arm back and launching his attack.Earl moved his head to the side dodging a punch, however he felt his stomach churn as the sharp reptilian knee of Polka drove itself into him."The punch was a feint!?"
