priestess and the now quiet Ralph behind her and the grim looking soldiers at the rear end. Their small group had let the silence envelop them and not a soul broke it. It seemed that every one had settled for his own thoughts and there were no more gossiping. The soldiers had grown tired if talking and bored of repeating the same topic over and over when there was clearly nothing about again. It was a temporary refute and Lily welcomed it.The silence cleared her anger and irritation and she was starting to feel remorse for the soldiers themselves. Taught and trained to be fearless and brave, they were clearly not expecting to be marching to the wolf kingdom with no plan or prospects in mind. Lily thought that maybe she'd been a little short with them and they deserved a break. Besides, she thought glancing up at the gradually darkening sky. They deserved a rest. They weren't machines. She paused, making Ralph pause and the group behind the priestess to pause as well, giving her curi

She knew that it wasn't because she was cleaning then, because Suzy had done this every other day since Nicholas's Father had arrived. Suzy was trying to avoid that evil man. She had rushed for him when he bent over Mary but two guards restrained her to her seat, using like the same chain that was tied around Mary's wrist to bind her hands to the chair and even her feet. That didn't deter her though because she kept struggling. The only reason she stopped was because Mary had whimpered, her eyes cutting across to Laura. Vacant. That was the only sign of life coming from henr since and Laura knew it was one of pain. So she sat silently, her eyes away from what was happening before her.King Eric grunted loudly, the sound making Laura to quake and then he was done, buttoning himself and sitting on his chair. SIXTY SIX - Nightfalls
Lily practiced till nightfall. She turned and turned till the pain subconsciously ebbed away. Till she acclimatized with her wolf and with the strength it offered. She had never felt so freeing and she revelled in it. In the feeling it gave her. She had just gotten to the camp, after going many miles away from there to practice her werewolf transformation, and so she was surprised when she saw that everywhere was quiet. Since they'd set camp, the grounds have been busy with Vampires and Werewolves, all practicing and learning how to work as a team. Sure, they have been some hitches and in total, everything was yet to go smoothly, but she saw the progress that they made, even as they didn't. She walked stealthily past the tents, trying not to make a sound and hoping that she won't step on any branch. She heard a rustle to her left and squatted down behind a tent, looking around it as two men - her men, walked past her. One had his arm around the other and the other tried so hard to

SIXTY SEVEN - Confessions
Lily was gazing faraway, thinking of Him, again. She had moved further away from her warriors that were training on the plain and sat, surrounded by a parchment of wild daffodils, overlooking a swords clashing and grunts could be heard afar off from her warriors as they trained rigorously. They would be there till mid day but, it was always worth it. They were the undefeated Kayaans and she meant for it to stay that way. She picked up a smooth stone from the soft earth, brushing off leaves and dirt around it. She tossed it in watching as the waters formed larger ripples from the place where the stone had landed. She felt like that was the way her mind worked at the moment. A small thought or sight would trigger her thoughts, making her to loose focus. These days, it seemed he was all she could think about. She had already resolved in her heart that she would focus only on protecting her people and dealing with the Vampire King. But, everytime she saw Nicholas, since he joined forces

They had broken out of the woods and were now crouched in the bushes, just outside the palace. Thanks to the excellent tracking skills of the bear shifters, they were able to navigate the woods, be treated to a very nice meal of roast meat and be protected from wild animals by the fairies. The trip had done alot more than Lily had expected. It had created some sort of bond between the kingdoms and there was no doubt that after this war, there would be a lot of strong allies to be called on.Despite the tense situation where they found themselves, Lily was feeling awfully good. It was a refreshing feeling, very different from all the adrenaline she usually felt before a match and she was finding it a good break. It didn't matter that Nicolas was even there, she didn't care. All that mattered was the euphoric feeling she was feeling."One of my fairies just came back with info," the fairy king announced, drawing Lily's attention to the now crouching fairy that had appeared out of nowher

Everyone bowed before the commander. The kayaans, the fairies, the werewolves, the witches, the vampires, the angels and the gnomes were all faced down paying homage to the commander. Despite the lives lost, they bowed before her singing her praises and celebrating her leading them to victory. The commander was standing next to the prince. Their hands were intertwined, both staring at each other. The people stood up cheering and dancing in victory while Nicholas engulfed her into a hug. He smiled when he got a whiff of her lavander scent. The scent had a mix of foul odour so he grimaced in disgust. The groaning coming from Lily made them pull out of the hug and etched on Lily's face was a wide smile.Prince Nicholas skimmed the commander's body taking in the bruises on her skin. Some parts of her skin were swollen and she had a black eye. "Thank you." He breathed out, holding her hands. Lily gave a smile and he added, "I should still come take the fighting lessons though." The both
