The battle for selection has started the contenders for knight school are fifty in number while there are only ten silver knights. Half of the contenders have been beaten down, although there has been no death so far. Phil has been the only one who passed the battle with a heavy injuries on his leg and upper arm. For revenge, George has arranged a golden knight to disguise himself as a silver knight to get rid of Faul to pacify his anger for the loss of his son. After half of the knights' contenders has been taken down by the silver knights, the stage was cleared for the sorcery school contenders. The people for the sorcery school selection are just about twenty of them of which Anna and Amy were among them. The magic staff was brought into the middle of the arena by the leader of the mages. The staff was placed in the middle of the arena as the contenders were trying out their luck to lit up the staff. Many people have tried and more than half of them passed the selection trial.
