59. Genuine Enthusiasm
Leonard sat on his bed, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness. It had been a long few weeks since he had been suspended from school and he missed everything about it—the classes, the laughter, and most of all, his best friend Daniel. Determined to catch up with him, Leonard picked up his phone and dialed Daniel's number. As the phone rang, Leonard's heart raced with excitement. Finally, after a few rings, Daniel's voice came through. "Hey, Leonard! Is that you?" Daniel exclaimed, his voice filled with genuine enthusiasm. "Yeah, it's me, buddy!"
