Conrad stood by the door, his eyes trailing down to the phone on the floor, before going back up to Deborah's face. She shook like a leaf. But then she broke into a smile. "You scared me", she held her chest, "I don't know. Someone called me", she said and knowingly took a step forward, stepping on the already cracked screen that it cracked the more. "No!", She gasped like she didn't just do that on purpose. She bent down and picked up the phone. She looked up at Conrad and almost broke into tears, "it's broken", she pouted. Conrad bought it. He sighed and walked up to her. "Hey. It's fine. Its fine. I'll get you a new one", he patted her back. "Why did you come back?" She asked. "Forgot something", he smiled and walked up to his drawer, he drew out an envelope, "see you when I get back okay?" He smiled and left.
