THE GRIM REAPER SYSTEM /Mydas
The loud wail of Stephan echoed through the walls of the mansion where he was kept. He was slowly tormented and wasn't given enough food that would sustain him. His lips were bloated and dry. "Are you ready to talk?" The demon king moved closer to him. "You just need to tell me how to make myself powerful through his blood." He said it with anger in his voice. "I don't know. The last time I drank his blood, I nearly died." Stephan replied, looking exhausted. Cinderella called her father backwards, "I don't think he knows anything about this." "Then he is of no use to us," the demon king said without blinking. "Kill him and feed him to the demon dogs." " No! Wait, please; I am more useful to you alive than dead." Stephan shouted at the top of his voice, trying to buy himself some time. The demon king stopped abruptly and looked at him. "Go on. Tell me why I need to spare your life." The demon king asked, staring at Stephan, who was racking his brains, to tell him something. "I kno

I saw Stephan and some of the bullies walking into the campus with a grin on their faces. "You look like you have seen a ghost." Cinderella said with a chuckle. "What the hell is Stephan doing here? The school authorities should expel bad energies like him." I said it with anger. "Is he that bad? I think everyone deserves a second chance. Don't you think Cinderella?" Helena said with a smiling face. " What? Do you know what people like him do and what he is capable of?" I said it in anger, looking at Helena's face."Tell them what I am capable of, Max. You seem to have all the answers." Stephan walked closer to me and looked at me in the face. I looked around, and the students were all gathered except for a show. "If you think I am going to fight you, then you are missing it. I am going to expose you, and the school authorities will find out who you really are." I said it with anger. "And what are you going to tell them exactly?" I heard a voice right behind me, and I looked back.

I knew I had to make Helena remember who I was. I need to get her to love me. Cinderella could see the fire and the passion in my eyes. "Why are you bothered about Helena when you have me? Or do I need to kill her before you love me?" Cinderella said it with a spark of anger in her eyes, and I immediately looked at her. "What do you really want? You wanted me to be your boyfriend, and voila! I am. What else?" I said I was trying to get away from her, but Cinderella was not done yet. She gently stood up and followed me. She was the second woman who was threatening to kill Helena if she could have me. Flora tried, and I put her in her place, but Cinderella was different. A part of me feels for Helena's love. She was the only woman who could bring the best out of me and make me do extraordinary things. My mind went back to Elena and Elizabeth. It's been a long time since I've seen them. I brought out my phone and dialed Derek's number. I knew we needed to see and talk about how we were

"Yes, me again. I am here with the same proposal." William looked at Elena. "Is this the guy you are telling me about?* I asked, folding my arms. "No, he is here on behalf of his father. Go and tell him that I don't betray my own people." Elena replied madly and walked away, leaving me and Williams on the balcony."Don't worry, I will help you talk to her, and I am sure she will come around."I looked closely and noticed Williams was a fire demon. "What do you want with Elena?" I asked, staring at his face. Williams was about to walk away when he looked back. "How is that any of your business?" He talked back rudely. A part of me felt like fighting him, but I decided not to. "She said no, so you had better not come back." I smirked at him. "What will you do if I do? And who the hell are you to tell me what to do and what not to do?" Williams said back in anger. "Trust me, you don't want to know what I can do." I replied and walked away. I entered the house again, and I saw Elena

Everyone was calm as Elena finished her statement. I looked at their faces, and I saw everyone was ready. We are all ready to put a stop to darkness and bask the earth in light. "Since we have all agreed to do this, we need to be vigilant. I believe the demons have their plans to also take us down and dominate the world. We are not going to let them; we are going to strike when they least expect us to." I said it with determination in my voice. Everyone was with me, and we immediately set the plan in motion. "Eleanor, you are going to approach Williams and tell him you are ready to work with him. Also, ask him what you are getting back in return from joining hands with him." I looked at Elena, and she nodded. "Do you have his number? Or how do you plan on reaching out to him?" Zeoy asked her "He will come and find me. Williams doesn't take no for an answer.""Since we have all agreed to take the mission head-on, we must be committed and don't let any personal feelings hinder our pr

Cinderella looked at Williams, and she was lost. "What do you mean, bastard?" She looked at Williams, who was not talking anymore. Feeling frustrated, Cinderella walked into her father's room. He saw him speaking with one of his demons. The demon king looked back and saw that Cinderella was troubled. "What is it?" He asked with a husky voice. "Who am I to you?" Cinderella asked with her hands, akimbo. "What do you mean by that? If you have heard anything, then it is only normal for you to talk to me about it. Is that clear?" The demon king looked at her. "Is it true that I am not your biological daughter?" Cinderella asked "And why won't you be? Would you rather be a daughter to another man?" The demon king defended himself, still not looking at Cinderella's face. Cinderella smiled and walked closer to him; she was sure, even though William had told her otherwise. The demon king had treated Cinderella fairly. "What did you hear, or should I say, who told you that you weren't my

I looked beside Elena, and I could see William alongside her. " Hello,Max." Elena greeted me with a smile. I don't understand what was going on or how Elena managed to get admission into the university as a fresher, but I was ready to play along. We were going to talk when we were off campus. " Hello,Elena." I replied, not wanting to shun her. I know William knew we knew each other. "Who is he?" I asked, even though I knew who William was. We had met the last time I went to visit Elena. "Max, meet Williams." Elena introduced William. Who looked at me with irritating eyes? "Why do you need to greet him when he is my father's enemy?" He said he was looking at Elena. I watched as he dragged Elena away with him and how they argued among themselves. I smirked, knowing my plan was working, and I looked back at Cinderella, who was looking at Williams. "Why are you staring at him? Do you want him now that he is most like your type?" I asked, walking ahead of her. "No, I just have a feelin

Helena looked at me and didn't understand what I meant. She walked briskly towards the infirmary and met Stephan and Zack talking. They stopped when she walked in. "How are you doing?" Helena asked, taking a seat beside Stephan. "Better than yesterday. Don't you have lectures?" He asked, looking at her and beaming with a smile on his face. "Of course I do, but I wanted to be here with you." Helena replied. She looked up and smiled at Zack, who had a bit of a frown on his face. "I will see you guys later." Zack said, walking out of the room. It was clear he wasn't feeling okay with Stephan dating Helena. "Zack seems to be mad at me. Is there something I did wrong?" Helena asked, feeling a little down by Zack's attitude. "Don't worry about him. I am sure he is not just himself today." Stephan replied and looked at Helena, who had her eyebrows furrowed. "What is it?" He asked, brushing a strand of hair off Helena's face. "Would you tell me if I ask?" Helena squeezed her lips, and they

Walking back home, I felt rejected and dejected. Helena was the only woman for me, and I would never trade her with any other woman. I looked in my mirror, and I saw a car on my trail. I quickly parked over and waited. I scoffed when I saw that it was Cinderella. I put on my shade and sat still, not getting out of my car. Cinderella walked briskly and stood beside my car. "What is it?" I asked without looking at her face. "We have unfinished business, and we are going to talk it out." She said it abruptly. "Unfinished business? I don't remember us having a chat. And what is it about?" "Why are you playing hard to get? Helena doesn't love you anymore, even after you risk your life to save her." Cinderella said it with a scoff, and I was angry. I clenched my hand in anger, and I wanted to lash at her, but I calmed myself down. "I don't think you have a day about that. I loved her even though it might take time to come around. And you, why are you trying so hard to gain my attention?

I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling as thoughts raced through my mind like a whirlwind. The events of the day kept replaying over and over, each memory a punch to the gut, reminding me of everything I had lost—and everything I still had to lose. Helena, the love of my life, is now with Stephan, her new savior. Cinderella was the woman who seemed hell-bent on proving herself to me, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that she had her own agenda. And Derek, my mentor, was trying to drill some sense into me when all I wanted was to drown in my own confusion. But none of that matters now. The Demon King was out there, gathering strength, and the clock was ticking down to our inevitable confrontation. I could feel the pressure building up inside me—a mixture of fear and anger—and the weight of the world on my shoulders. The training was helping, sure, but I couldn’t ignore the nagging doubt gnawing at the edges of my mind. Would I be enough? Was I strong enough, smart enough, and worthy e
