Chapter 11: Plan To Kill Vampire's
The King of the Vampire Island/G. SAROWAR
The vampire, who looked like a hotel manager in disguise, opened the door and entered. Upon seeing him, everyone became terrified. The vampire frowned at Dr. Harper. “Collingwood, what are you doing here?” he said in an angry voice.Dr. Harper was stunned when he tried to answer. He somehow controlled himself and said, “No-no-no. I mean... I just came here.”The vampire glared at him for a moment, his brow still furrowed. Then, absentmindedly shaking his head, he said, “No. You didn’t come just like that. There’s definitely a reason you’re here. Tell me, what brought you?”“I’m telling the truth,” Dr. Harper said, now visibly frightened. “I’m not here for anything.”“Alright. I’ll believe you,” the vampire said. “Now, let’s go.”Dr. Harper breathed a sigh of relief. The others did the same, relieved. “Alright, let’s go.”“Oh, and by the way,” the vampire said, turning to face them. “You’re still alive because of Princess Evangeline. But don’t think you’re going to get away with it. So
Chapter 12: The King’s Deception

Dr. Harper entered the room. “What were you all discussing just now?” he asked.“Not much,” said Jack. “Where were the vampires hiding their lives? How did I find that out? We were just discussing those things.”“Whatever you were doing, just be careful,” Dr. Harper warned.“Of course,” Jack replied. “But why did you look so worried?”“The King lied to you about everything,” Dr. Harper said. The others were stunned by Dr. Harper’s words. They looked at each other, then at Dr. Harper.“The King might have said he freed you, but in reality, she hasn’t freed you at all,” Dr. Harper continued.“I didn’t quite understand,” Tulip said. “Could you explain what you meant? Please clarify the situation.”“Back then, the King said, ‘You are free.’ That was a lie. While she might have freed you from your captivity, she would still be keeping an eye on you. She would know everything you did, at all times.”“But how did you know this?” Jack asked.“The King was discussing it with Gabriel. I overhea
Chapter 13: Fight with vampires
The King of the Vampire Island/G. SAROWAR
Gabriel began tying them up with rope, starting with Jack. Just then, Max’s foot accidentally kicked a stone, sending it tumbling into the lake. At that moment, Jack noticed Gabriel react strangely. He froze, releasing the rope in his hands, and clutched his face with both hands, crying out in pain as if someone struck him.Suddenly, Princess Evangeline threw a stone into the lake, aiming right where the previous stone had fallen after Max’s kick. As soon as the stone hit the water, Gabriel let out a piercing scream and collapsed to the ground.“Jack!” Evangeline shouted. “Look over there!” She pointed toward the lake. “There’s a crocodile. Quickly, strike it on the head!”Jack immediately understood Evangeline’s hint and didn’t hesitate. He grabbed a large rock and struck the crocodile’s head in the water. With a single blow, the crocodile died. They all noticed that Gabriel, above, also died.It didn’t take them long to realize that this was the very lake where the vampires’ lives
Chapter 14: Killing the Vampire King
The King of the Vampire Island/G. SAROWAR
The King’s laughter was so loud it almost deafened them. Laughing, he said, “What did you think? You’d kill me that easily?”“But... you’re supposed to be dead,” said Jack, his voice filled with disbelief. “How are you still alive?”The King laughed again before answering. “You really think a bunch of kids like you could be the end of me? Killing me is that simple?”“But your life force was hidden inside that crocodile in the lake,” Jack replied. “Like all vampires, you were supposed to die.”“A mad scientist once tried to kill me before too,” the vampire King said, chuckling. “I lured him into a trap just like this and finished him off.”Hearing him mention the mad scientist, they all immediately understood he was talking about Tulip’s father, Dr. Byrne. The vampire King was definitely referring to him.“No one can kill me,” he declared once more. “Only holy exorcism water can end my life. That crazy scientist didn’t have it, which is why he met his end at my hands. And you kids don’
Chapter 15: The Sunset at Haven Brook Beach
The King of the Vampire Island/G. SAROWAR
The Death Island Adventure 2Jack and Max sat on the sand at Haven Brook Beach, watching the sunset. The sun looked like a large red plate. Its golden light fell on the clear sea waves, making the water sparkle. The tips of the waves glistened as if they were gold.Breaking the silence, Jack said, “What a beautiful sight! Just looking at it brings peace to the heart.”Max, also gazing at the view, replied without moving his eyes, “Yeah, you’re right. It’s like a heavenly scene.”“Nature always looks heavenly. Yet here we are, living far from this heavenly beauty in the mechanical life of the city.”Max nodded in agreement, saying, “You’re right.”Last month, Jack’s family moved from Easton to Haven Brook, California. They had bought a house near Max’s place by the ocean. Before, the two friends would only meet up during big vacations. Now, since they lived nearby, they spent all day together, roaming around the beaches of Haven Brook. There wasn’t much academic pressure at the momen
Chapter 16: Lost at Sea
The King of the Vampire Island/G. SAROWAR
The boat traveled far from Haven Brook port. The port was now out of sight. By this time, it was already noon. Everyone sat together on the deck and ate lunch. With the wind in their favor, Mr. Alexander hoisted the sails. The boat began to move forward at a fast pace. The morning and afternoon passed smoothly, but in the late afternoon, dark clouds started gathering in the sky. Even a small dark cloud there at sea could bring on a powerful storm. And storms were frequent in that area. Mr. Alexander glanced at the map. The boat was still about sixty nautical miles from City Island.Seeing the sky’s condition, he increased the boat’s speed. Meanwhile, the entire sky had now been covered in dark clouds. Soon after, a light rain began, along with a gust of wind. Mr. Alexander quickly lowered the sails. Within moments, the wind picked up intensity. The experienced sailor, Mr. Alexander, realized that reaching City Island in this weather was impossible. He quickly took out his binoculars t

With great effort, Jack crawled over to Alissa. Her motionless body lay on the sand. Jack took her hand and checked her pulse. Alissa was alive, but she remained unconscious. He didn’t even have the strength to help her. Just sitting there became unbearable. In the end, unable to take it any longer, he lay down on the sand right beside her.Sandy and Max noticed that, not far from them on the shore, two people were lying there. They quickly made their way over. As they got closer, they recognized them. Jack and Alissa!Max said, “Hey, it’s Jack and Alissa!”Sandy responded, “Let’s see if they’re still alive.”“Yeah, let’s go.”As they got close, they saw Jack writhing in pain, and Alissa was still unconscious. Max helped Jack sit up. Alissa’s condition seemed worse. Her stomach was unnaturally bloated. It was obvious she swallowed quite a bit of seawater. Slowly, Sandy pressed down on her stomach. Seawater gushed from her mouth. Then he pressed his mouth over hers and gave artificial b

Sandy stared at it, furrowing her brow. Seeing that, Mr. Alexander asked, “What happened? What do you see?”Sandy, without taking her eyes off, said, “I think I’ve spotted something.”“Where? What?”“Right there.” Sandy pointed ahead with her hand. “It might be a human body. McCarthy and Lewis...” She stopped mid-sentence.“Let’s go check it out.” Mr. Alexander’s voice was filled with excitement. They rushed toward the spot. Sandy guessed correctly. Two human bodies were lying there. As they got closer, they recognized both of them.McCarthy was groaning softly, calling out for water. Lewis was lying face down on the sand, unconscious. Mr. Alexander checked Lewis’s wrist for a pulse.“Is he alive?” Sandy asked.“I can’t tell.” While still holding Lewis’s hand, Mr. Alexander shook his head absentmindedly.Sandy looked around. Chapter 20: The Hidden Cave
The King of the Vampire Island/G. SAROWAR
“It was all over,” Mr. Alexander said in a panicked voice.“What happened?” Jack’s face was full of shock.“Several Vampires were coming this way. At least a hundred, for sure.”“What did we do now?” Jenny asked, her voice shaking with fear and anxiety. “Should we run outside?”Jack answered, “Running outside right then would have been the height of foolishness. They would have caught us for sure. And what about Louis and McCarthy? They were sick. They wouldn’t have been able to run. There were two things we could do. But both needed to be done right there, where we were.”Everyone’s eyes asked the same question: “What?”“First, we put out the fire and sat quietly in the dark. If we were lucky, the Vampires wouldn’t have been able to see us in the darkness. But there was a huge risk. If they spotted us, there would have been no hope left. It would have been a horrible, agonizing death. They would have ripped us apart while we were still alive. And on top of that, the sun was almost up
