As night fell, Mikael was tucking the two boys away in bed.
"Sweet dreams, boys." He smiled.
"Goodnight!" They chimed in unison.
As Mikael gently closed the door to their bedroom, he walked to the kitchen and sat down.
"I thought you were going to take a nap?" He asked as he sat down at the kitchen table. Larkin, who was washing dishes, shrugged.
"I couldn't fall asleep," he said.
"Ah, that's a shame,” Mikael replied.
"Maybe I'll go for a walk, just to clear my head," Larkin said, turning off the faucet.
"Mm, that's not a bad idea," Mikael said, opening the newspaper.
