As Rick stepped into the classroom, he let out a yawn.

“Oh, good morning, Rick!” Tammy waved.

“Hey.” Rick smiled as he waved.

Due to their meeting, Rick was a bit weary working with Tammy. However, she seemed more than capable and proved to love the kids and her job overall.

“The buses should be coming soon!” Rick nodded, sitting at his desk.

“Tammy,” Rick began.

Tammy looked up from her phone, cocking her head.

“Did you do something different with your hair?” Tammy blushed.

“Uh, no...” she laughed nervously.

“I just didn’t have time to straighten it this morning.” Rick nodded.

“It’s usually really wavy; I hate it.” She smiled, looking down.

“Why?” Rick questioned.

“Huh, why what?” Tammy asked as she looked up.

“Why do you hate your natural hair?”
