Lisa turned away to face the door. What had she done? Her heart was palpitating wildly now, she'd just murdered someone. Her hands were trembling.

Jayden whimpered when he tried to get up. "Shit!" he cursed.

Lisa caught sight of blood! The wound was bleeding and had stained his blue t shirt.

She heard sounds of feet running up the stairs in the distance. They'd probably heard the gunshot, she panicked, about two men were coming towards them.

"Barker!" A loud voice growled in front of the door. He tried to open the doorknob, it was locked.

Jayden stiffened and cleared his throat.

"Sir.."

He staggered to the door and poked his head out, hiding his bloodied arm.

"What the hell was that about? We heard the shots"

"Yes sir. This bitch here was being stubborn! I had to show her who's boss" Jayden growled in response.

"Are you okay?" The man asked again.

"Should we come teach her some lesson?"

Lisa's eyes grew wide. She held her breath as she waited for the answer.

"I can take care of
