Margaret instantly loses her balance as if struck by lightning and her face pales. "He... He came here looking for me?" She stutters, breaking out in a cold sweat. "Wait," she blurts as if recalling something. "Was he the one who broke down the school gate?"

The Grim Reaper doesn't bother to respond to that question, instead saying, "It's quite surprising that he didn't come after you after leaving here." He tilts his head, as if in thought and after a while, looks back at her as he says, "That can only mean that he has decided to give you a chance to change your ways and stop sending assassins after him. You are lucky. If he wanted you dead, you would have been dead and even I wouldn't have had anything to do about it."

"But why is it so, father? Why can't you do anything to him? He is just a pauper, how can you be so afraid of him?"
