Jordan's foot halts midair as he turns to look at Natasha. "What?" He raises a brow.

"Don't kill her. Please," Natasha implores, staring pleadingly at him.

"And why shouldn't I?" Jordan furrows his brow, struggling to comprehend why Natasha would plead for the life of someone who had ridiculed her and harbored the intention of killing her.

"Uhm," Natasha sighs heavily, saying, "I know you are doing this to keep me safe, but what about you? If you kill the young Miss, the Cadens will haunt you for the rest of your life and will never stop until they kill you. I know you're not afraid of being haunted, you are not afraid of anything, but how can you ever have peace again? Is killing her really worth sacrificing your peace? Please don't be rash! Please!"

"Your friend is right, kind sir; it's not really worth it for you to jeopardize your peace just because you want to kill me. And I promise you once again, if you let me off, I'll never seek revenge against you or your friends and family,"
