“Eh… Friendship… right?” Argos stuttered as he starts stepping back away from them.
“There is no consideration for a friend when you are an enemy from the start!” Turoc exclaimed as he readied his weapon to swing it to Argos but just before their weapons became in contact with Argos, they suddenly stopped. Their bodies start shaking forcibly like they are holding the pain in their inner bodies. Not so long until they fell down the ground out of paralysis, a new man appeared in front of him.
“Eh?” Argos stuttered out of confusion not until he clearly see the man’s face in visible light. His face made him remind of the first incident Lenard is involved with. “Are you…”
The man picks out a set of keys from his back and shows it to him. “Is this what you are looking for?” The man asked with the tingling sounds of colliding metals in his hand. Argos can’t reassure his safety
“I’m going now!” Argos exclaimed, but before he goes back to the wilderness, he left a raging whispered message to Gerard. “If you did anything at them, you will experience ten times what you did.”He runs toward the resting room of the guards and it seems no one is still hanging back in there. He suddenly felt some sudden vibrations of the ceiling coming from above. “Was there an earthquake? Well, whatever. Alex’s distractions seem to be in favor of me. Now, I’m going back again to this irritating narrow hole full of ants. I swear I won’t go back at this way again!” Argos complained as he stares at the tunnel he came from.Without noticing the time, he crawls back out the tunnel with this bugged-out mind. He thought that it would be the only time he will be able to think so that he could utilize both resources and time. With only ten minutes of slow crawling, he already thought of most of the things he needed
Just as Argos plans to wander around the place, someone taps his shoulder from the back. He tries to scream out of shock but instead, he holds it because it isn’t the right thing to do in his situation. After he turns back with a compressed face, he knits his forehead out of disappointment. What he saw was Zak together with Ranulph who is still normal even after walking through the cold with just underwear.“BWAHAHA! Look at that face! It looks like you have entered a haunted house. If I have a camera, I would take a thousand copies,” Zak commented after spilling out a burst of hard laughter. What he did made Argos disappointed.“If it were you, I would do a billion, and I would make sure that everyone in the world would have a copy of your face,” Argos said with grinning teeth and clenched fists as he looks at Zak with furrowed eyebrows.“Master, why are you here? Are you done with the infiltration?” Ranulph, who is bes
After they witnessed such an unpredictable event, they rushed back towards where they left Alex, which is where the trapdoor is located. As soon as they got back, Argos slightly tilted his head towards the side after seeing Alex collecting each herb around them.Lephumine is a rare, medium-sized plant and can be found only near forests in the Southern region of Victoria. It blooms in late spring. It has large, rosette leaves, which are usually light orange. It also grows large flowers, which can be dark purple and light orange.Like the Lephumine, the Knot Ginger is an extremely rare, tiny plant and can be found only n the place around them. It blooms once a year, for 4 months. It has narrow, squared leaves, which are usually light green. It also grows huge flowers, which can be light red and silver.Mimosa pudica, on which Argos is familiar, is well known for its rapid plant movement. Like a number of other plant species, it undergoes changes in leaf orien
Argos and Alex thought of things so that they can solve the mystery hiding inside the mysterious room. In order to utilize the time that they have, Argos commanded Zak and Ranulph to do what Alex is firstly doing, gathering plants. Just outside, there are already a swarm of the plants they needed to gather. They planned to get the shy plant last while they divided the other two to themselves.“Why did he send me out with you in here? Am I not that important to this quest? He really drives me nuts,” Zak complained while gripping the plant and pulling it with strength, displacing his anger.“Deez Nutz! Don’t pull the plants like that or it will be useless. Instead of helping, your uselessness will just stack. I know that I can’t help them, that is why I volunteered here,” Ranulph said.“W… Where did you get that reference! Anyways, what is the story between you two? I don’t understand it really. Why are you fo
The whole time after the discovery, Argos grins his teeth. Just because of what happened, he developed a trauma in scissors. He creates a clacking sound non-stop while they walk towards the second table. The table contains three apples and a graduated container where it could fit. Beside it is a chest and a hole where it seems that something should be put there. Below the table is a water source with a scoop.“What a waste of time! What will I do with this thing? Are we making a kid’s science project? Are we going to build a barbershop?” Argos complains with nerves popping out his forehead as he scans the scissors for special functions which seem to be not obvious in the eye.“Maybe it has something to do with opening the gate. The ones who made this puzzle put that thing in there on purpose… maybe. We will find out soon enough. For now, we need to accomplish these mind games,” Alex suggested as he scans the apples and the graduated
Argos said as he enters the second key to the second keyhole. Then he puts the first key to the first keyhole. With just the assurance that the key will work, they decided to tilt the keys concurrently, at the same time. After they did, they felt a slight earthquake which causes the boulder to be pushed to the side. Behind the boulder is a special door that will lead to a mysterious room. With the result of their smart work, Argos is drowned in euphoria as he exclaims out of excitement. “That is what I am talking about!”“You are really amazing, Argos! You are much more genius than I,” Alex said as he praises Argos’s problem-solving skills.“You must say I am much more genius than you thought. Don’t sweat it. It was just luck. Without you, I wouldn’t have thought of these solutions,” Argos said as he rubs Alex’s head again. Like a long-lost puppy, Alex takes in all the warmth of Argos’s hand.
The two competitors ran as the signal goes. Zak went first ahead but just inches away from Argos. *What the hell! That is cheating already!* Argos thought, but he didn’t realize that he is much faster than Zak in terms of running. After a quick short rush, Argos knocked one of the two guards head first. “Huh! I hit first! See that…”When Argos looks at Zak, he also sees the guard lying down on the ground, which is different from him because his target is still standing. “Are you sure that this contest was the first to hit wins? What if you look in front?”Argos looks in front and senses a tilt of the head from the guard’s head. When the guard turns back, he shows them a creepy face of rage and fear.“Holy shit!” Argos exclaimed as he starts flinching back and trembling in fear. In all of a sudden, just before he can react, the man draws out his sword and directly swings it to Argos. Even he didn’t see
“If I am still the commander, I should have died in that battlefield,” Ranulph said as he tries to open the door but it won’t open. “It is locked!”“You sure will die there, Ranulph. You can be a better performer in a circus with that getup,” the voice from behind them said, which is clearly a stranger’s voice. When the party turned back, Ranulph recognized a familiar face.“Selo?” Ranulph asked as he narrows his eyes towards the man sitting on the single chair present in the room. The room is wrapped with thick lines with an unusual figure and at a fifty percent opacity which is half visible to the eye. The lines flow like water in a river, continuously and never ending.“Isn’t it proper to enter a room and don’t check it?” Selo asked.“So it is your rune that locked us here. It ain’t a smart move,” Ranulph said.“At last, I found someone th
