Darius plans on fetching Adeline by three in the afternoon. It’s already two, an hour before their meet, but Darius stays at the office to scan Vylleria’s documents for clues. He planned to stay in there for an hour, illegally, but his permission from Silvestre might give him a bypass.

Meanwhile, Adeline is already outside the Vyldir’s blacksmith. She leans back from the pole of light while waiting for Darius to come.
