Chapter 73

I’ve finished the quest. The battle didn’t come out easy, but in the end, after throwing huge lightning at the Kraken multiple times. I defeated the monster, finiReng the quest.

I got the gold reward and the magic book. The salmon was said to be sent to my address. Since I don’t have one. I got extra money instead.

The end was awkward since the one giving my reward was the guild master, Leafa. I could tell that she was still angry with me.

She handed me the reward and, without meeting my eyes, without saying anything at all.

People thanked me a lot and invited me to a feast.

But since I have to go back to my mansion. I refused.

Being at the feast together with Leafa would be more awkward. I didn’t even say anything to her before leaving.

Leaving the city, I snuck into the dark alley and activated my magic.

“Switch!”

I still have the detection of my knife that was left on the rooftop of the guild. I switched with my knife and got back to Springwood City faster than the speed of light.
