Issac watched Evelyn entered her car and drove off with out giving him a glance. He heaved out a shallow sigh and was about to sit down when he saw the doctor approaching him.

He stopped midway before straightening his posture again. "How is she, doctor?" He asked, demandingly. "Can I see her now?"

"Yeah..." The doctor replied, wearing a small smile on his face. "She has woken up few minutes ago and so, you can see her now."

"Thank you so much for your care, doctor." Issac said with sincerity laced in his voice. "I really appreciate your effort to save her."

"You don't need to mention, Mr. Issac." The doctor replied in a plain yet casual voice. "We have only done our responsibility on her and it's nothing much."

Isaac nodded slowly before he left the doctor and went to meet his mother. He could not believe his eyes.

He was here just the previous day and his mother could not even hear him speak, she only lie on her sickbed helplessly like she is not going to survive it but here she
