"Another Owner?" A faint voice coursed through a small room; peer pressure filled the dim space, eerie vibes contained its grey walls; a young lad was utterly startled by that feeling, his eyes wanted to shut themselves, but his emotions held him back.

Those sparkly silver eyes were glistening; his body looked like a shake-weight getting jerked aggressively by an athlete; he felt as if some pair of eyes were glued on his body.

"Interesting..." An entity spoke in a fervor way.

"Interesting?!" He parroted with a glint of fear.

"Why do I hear a voice?!" His mind went crazy; his intention to leave the house rose every second that passed.

His eyes flickered around the small room to check if anything was out of the ordinary. His boxes were stacked the way he arrived. However, they look like an entity out of this world in the night, wanting his blood and guts.

A minute passed, then five, those minutes became hours, and the hours became an eternity, and his desire to sleep intensified.

To feel at ease, he clutched his pillow as hard as he could, hiding under his sheets.

"I really need some sleep, I start school tomorrow...Is it possible to discombobulate a ghost?" As his eyes finally close, out of the blue, a small hand dandled down from his back to his glute, which made him rocket out of his bed.

Wanting to leave the house, he accidentally stepped on a shirt and slid across the floor, bumping his head on the floor.

"Oops..."

Suddenly a transparent hue became visible to the naked eye, glancing down at the passed-out lad, she crouched gawked at him.

"Katashi Shuuta...we finally meet." She stared at the guy and smiled wryly, with her body vanishing into nothing.

...

"Uwaah...what happened?" The lad finally woke up; he sat up and gazed around his room with a stupor expression.

Only one question popped up to him: how the hell did he end up on the floor?

He remembered the feeling of a hand caressing him, trying to run away, and knocking him to the ground.

"What was that? Is this house haunted or something? I guess it was a bad idea buying this house after all...." He instantly realized his situation; a cheap house that looks good always seems suspicious.

Was it still worth it?

The reason being; the desperation to escape hell itself!

Shuuta's aunt appeared on his mind laughing at him arrogantly with a cold glint in her sharp eyes.

The boy's aunt was very useless! She was a lazy sloth with sleeping problems...basically, he was her personal maid! He would be woke at 4 am to give her treats and drinks, she bin-watched many movies and series, not to mention anime. Useless shut-in NEET!

"It was definitely worth it." The boy sagely nodded, looking a bit smug.

'I still don't get how she makes money by just drawing lewd stuff.' The red-haired lad frowned deeply. At least both were able to live off with that, not to mention Shuuta being forced to pose and dress in such lewd outfits. It was either that or no allowance, which meant he would starve to death.

Aunty had no heart for the useless, and in Shuuta's eyes, she was a cruel human being. Only her mounds were the only good thing about her.

Those memories gave the lad chills and dark eyes.

'Well, let's forget the past!' With a deep breath and a long sigh, determination filled his guts.

It's time to assess the elephant in the room.

"Alright! Whoever you are, show yourself! I am not scared of you...Okay fine, just a little bit, still, I'll try to help you out the best I can!" Shuuta sounded off his voice waiting for a response.

Silence, not a single sound was heard.

'I expected as much, is the ghost shy?' The lad laughed helplessly; he stood in a flash and stared at the bed contemplative.

"I'm serious here! I swear it on my life!" He posed like an anime character as if he was motivating someone.

"I can't get what I want, it's pointless, I'm already dead." The lad was stunned after hearing a delicate voice of a girl.

He flickered his eyes around but found no one; scratching his head, he wore a complex look on his face.

'So she can't get what she wants? What else can I do? No. There must be something I can do to help, even though she's a ghost, something is keeping her here, she has regrets...Mmmm' Shuuta groaned as he thought many things, only to respond.

"Are you sure? I promise to make your request a reality, pinky promise." The boy had an idea…maybe helping the voice out might cleanse his house. That's if everything goes well.

"I assure you that, you will regret it." Such a delicate voice made this sentence downright menacing.

That left the boy uneasy, what can he regret? Being taken over his body? Losing his man sausage? There cannot be something worse than losing his man sausage!

His eyes glinted seriousness and he claims, "I'm very resilient, don't worry about me, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to handle whatever you need." He pondered a bit, he imagined many bad scenarios, but none were "bad bad" to him. Thus he decided to help anyway.

...I mean, what's the worst that can truly happen?

"If you insist...become my boyfriend!"

Oh.

The girl popped out of nowhere and hugged the stupefied lad; Shuuta couldn't believe that a ghost just asked him with such a demand.

"EHHH?! Are you stuck here because you never had a boyfriend?!" The boy attempted to pull away from the cute ghost; his hands passed through her unable to get away from her cold grip.

'Huh?! How can she hug me, but I can't touch her!'

"Yes. I've never had a boyfriend, I had no time for relationships, plus my studies were my priority back then, now that I'm dead, I regret not enjoying my youth, and well...I always wanted to have a relationship with a boy." The girl turned into nothing and popped out of thin air on the lad's bed, comfortably sitting down.

The boy searched for her and gawked, wholly mesmerized, his eyebrows raised in awe.

Her oval face and puffy cheeks, her obsidian black hair that flowed down her shoulders made it seem like she was pure and cute, her sparkly cherry lips displaying her gentleness, the crimson red eyes piercing the lad's body, she was wearing a school uniform, her mounds getting clutched by the school shirt almost jutting out, the guy felt a blow into his heart.

"I'm lost for words...How in the hell were you single? You're too cute!!" The lad exclaimed with utter honesty; steam came out of the ghost, wait...no it's her soul! She fluttered up like a red tomato.

The girl's expression suddenly seemed down. She then tucked her legs on her chest and sat like a child. "I-I was isolated, mocked, bullied...nobody would talk to me...I can't seem to remember why. I was always a good girl..."

Whaaat? I don't know if she's lying, her emotions seem genuine to me!

"I...I didn't know. I'm truly sorry for asking." He paused. Did he just step on a mine? Guilt filled his body.

'But why was she isolated and bullied? What monster on Earth would dare touch a string of hair of this maiden! It seems nobody appreciates cuteness anymore.'

"N-no, it's fine..." Her face contoured slowly, making Shuuta's heartache.

Sympathy propels his movement, reaching for a hug; he slips on a shirt on the ground, pushing the cute ghost onto the bed.

Shuuta understood her feelings, he was also isolated as a kid, he did many pranks and did bad stuff to girls, everyone disliked his presence, all he was trying to do was get attention, to show that he existed and that he was also a human being, not some disposable garbage.

"Huh?! W-w-what are you d-d-doing?!" The girl turned beet red, her eyes connected to the lad's eyes, facing each other.

The sparkle in the boy's eyes was the switch that caused the ghostly maiden to blush intensely.

The dash of the gentle sunrise shining through the windows illuminated the ghost's face. Her glistening eyes reflected the lad's face.

Her lip was getting closer to the boy's, but then!

As a reflex, Shuuta retracted from her and said, "Hold your horses! I don't even know your name, and we're already going for a kiss?! That's no fun! Let's take baby steps and get to know each other." The lad exclaimed, looking flushed out; the girl just stared at the lad for a long second with a poker face.

"I guess you're right..." The girl helplessly laughed while averting her eyes. She was in a complete tizzy.

How awkward!

"My name is Katashi Shuuta. What's your name?" Shuuta's lip curled up.

"I-I'm Ohara Hanako. It's a pleasure, Shuuta-Kun." Her lips, her face, her spirit smiled warmly at Shuuta. 'I already know you Shuuta...I'm going to act like I don't.'

"What a beautiful smile," Shuuta muttered under his breath, smiling.

Shuuta felt his view sting a bit, the sun gently tapped his eyes...wait. The sun?!

Shuuta's gaze shifted towards his drawer, where his alarm was, suddenly turning his face speechless, "It's 7:15! I'm going to be late for school!" Shuuta ran to his closet, pulled out his school uniform, and took his clothes off; Hanako instantly turned away, blushing.

He had no time so he neglected his breakfast.

"I need to leave! See ya around Hanako-chan."

The sky was blue and fresh, the sun had already come out, and birds who relaxed at a light post were chirping harmonically.

Boom!*

Shuuta exited his house hastily, almost breaking his door in the process.

Disregarding the noise he made, he rushed onwards to his school.

...

With some time on his back, Shuuta finally met with the school,  pounding his feet as he sprinted, as he entered the main patio, he was suddenly halted by small hands, his face is covered by them.

Why?! This again?!

"~~Who am I~~?" A gentle voice whispered in Shuuta's ear; this made the lad very uncomfortable, another weird girl appeared!

"Yuri?" He tried to guess fast to shake her off his back, but he still hesitated a little because her lovely mounds were rubbing Shuuta's back.

"Yaaay! You guessed right! As a reward, I'll kiss you on the cheek!" The cheerful yet childish girl then climbed Shuuta's back furthermore to reach his cheek.

"Idiot! Get off me. The other students are glaring at us! Please!" He tried to shake her off but couldn't; her grip was locked! The school uniform would rip and cause a massive mess if he pulled away with more strength.

Smooch!*

She finally kissed his cheek; Shuuta couldn't believe it; as he felt her small lips reach his left cheek, he sighed deeply in disregard.

Why is she so flirty? It's bizarre! She would always coldly beat his ass for the fun of it. Not to mention she knows Kendo.

'Am I an object to you?!'

But in Yuri's eyes, it seemed like a normal thing to do; in fact, she didn't think it was outlandish at all, well, because they've been together since the day they could walk! It was a childhood thing to do!

Shuuta could hear whispers from the other students roaming by, it was easily audible.

This girl! What am I gonna do with her?!

'Why is she still soo childish! She's making a big misunderstanding!' Shuuta finally got away from her claws and turned to her.

Yuri gazed at him and smiled. "Good morning Shuuta!"

"Don't you good morning me! We're going to be late if we don't start walking." Shuuta hurriedly walked away, but suddenly Yuri tugged Shuuta's arm and stared at him in the eyes

Both their eyes connected, making Shuuta flustered.

"W-what is it?" Shuuta stuttered.

"You're not going to say good morning to me?" Yuri wined; she started to pull his arm back and front in a bustling way to convey him into telling her good morning.

"Fine! FINE! Stop pulling on my shirt, you dimwit!...*cough* good morning, it's that better? Now, hurry to class!" Shuuta pulled away and started running reflexively; he doesn't want Yuri to catch him.

Yuri just stared and pouted, "That meanie!"

Just as he entered the room, Shuuta yelled, "Made it!"

A bunch of students just glanced at him seeing an ordinary guy.

"Yeesh, barely...thanks to that idiot." He made his way into the back of the classroom and sat next to the window; he still had lingering thoughts about Hanako; how could he see a ghost and even interact with one? Just how bizarre but cool was that? He didn't know where to put his gaze, so instead, he stared blankly into the window.

"Yo! How's it going, handsome? I'm soo glad that we cross paths again!" The voice of an annoying guy appears; it seems like the dude enjoys teasing more than Yuri.

"Oh, Kazuma! I didn't realize you were next to me. So, what's up? How did your summer go?" Shuuta still wore a complex expression; his mind was in the forest of thought and was very lost.

Kazuma smelled it from a mile away like a cheesecake. A dark smirk crossed his face.

"Mmm...Did you get rejected again?" Kazuma chuckles with an ominous smile, making Shuuta dart an angry gaze at Kazuma.

"So that's it! Don't worry! You still have more girls to stalk! Even new ones as well!" Kazuma loses it; the comment was loud enough for the whole class to hear; instantly, Shuuta got the gazes of other people in disdain.

'Gaah! Another misunderstanding!!' Shuuta instantly covered Kazuma's mouth to stop his blabbing nonsense, "Shut up, Kazuma! Or they'll think that I'm a freaking creep!" Shuuta then got back to his seat, leaving Kazuma by himself. "Besides...those days are over. I'm not how I used to be, Kazuma."

Kazuma shot a glance at the red-haired boy, and shockingly; Shuuta seemed serious about it...still, his pervert tendencies reeked like armpits; he tried to mask it with deodorant! "Oh? So you barely have any shame?! You took long enough!"

"Shut up, you hentai addict."

Just when things got worse, a pair of hands covered Shuuta's eyes once more, but they felt odd, cold, smaller than Yuri's; it gave off a scent like petals on spring and sunshine with rainbows.

"Who am I?" A well-known voice of a girl made Shuuta cringe; he instantly knew who it was, thanks to her delicate voice.

'Hanako!?' Shuuta shrieked on his mind. He was utterly stupefied by her presence.

"Hanako..." Shuuta whispered, he didn't want anyone to hear him because...well, you know...she's a ghost.

"That's right! If you didn't guess it was me, I would have been sad!" Hanako cackled like a child.

Her body was lying in the air, with her arms on the desk. Still, it looked like she was lying in a bed.

'Thank god I'm the only one that can see you...' Shuuta snuck a glance at Kazuma; if he turns to look back at him, the godly view of a piece of art would be on display; panties!

'What are you doing here?' Shuuta's voice went up some tones, he thought she could only stay at his house, but it seems that she can linger around anywhere...why was that?!

Shuuta really was dumbfounded; he accidentally found himself staring at Hanako for too long and made her blush intensely.

"W-why are you looking at me too much? Do I have something on my face?" Hanako repulsively started to rub her face; she then stood next to Shuuta and said deliberately, "Ummm...can you move? That's my seat before I passed away…I attended this school, I was in this class, even the teacher is the same one that I know. So, please can you move? This seat means a lot to me."

Shuuta was once again dumbfounded, so apparently, she attended this school before her death.

Interesting, his first clue just came up. She attended this school, he wondered if a teacher might recognize her.

Shuuta just became a first-year at this high school, so of course, he wouldn't know about her. How did she die? Why is she soo cute? Can anyone else see her? All these questions revolved in his head, utterly distracting his studies.

Shuuta nods in response and sits one desk before her; Kazuma wondered why he moved.

Shuuta felt bad for Hanako, he really wanted to know how she passed away, but deep down he knew that it was a horrible thing to ask, maybe time will tell, or interact with her daily.

For now, Shuuta will try to make her comfortable with him, as her new roommate and future boyfriend, he'll try his best.

Kazuma gawked his movement, only to weep. 'Is he trying to avoid me?!' Kazuma had teary eyes...'I thought we were compadres...'

After a brief ten seconds of silence, the teacher finally arrived hurriedly, he slid the doors and placed his suitcase on the desk, turning back to the students.

The hubbub halted and the eyes of all students glued to this old man that seemed friendly.

"Good morning, students! My name is Mr. Keishi, and I'll be your homeroom teacher. It's a pleasure to meet all of you freshmen." Mr. Keishi bowed modestly.

Wow, what a friendly teacher! Everybody thought, but they were utterly wrong, there was an evil grin on the teacher's face, they couldn't see it because he was bowing.

"We are starting class right away! Please pull out your notebooks cause we're writing all the school rules and code of conduct!" His lips curled up higher than usual, his eyes stretched all the way, and his tongue was shaped like a snake's.

Everyone froze and stared at him mutely.

"I see he hasn't changed at all." Hanako pouted behind Shuuta.

Supposedly, Shuuta heard that he was one of the best teachers at school, but he didn't know that the teacher was at the next level of strictness.

'Interesting, he gave classes to Hanako, which means...'

Shuuta pondered about it, maybe he should ask him after class, he wants to know everything about her…because that's what a boyfriend err…future boyfriend does!

He then proceeded to write a bible of rules in his notebook, losing color as his hand almost cramped up.
