At lunchtime, Shuuta and Kazuma both went to the cafeteria; Hanako followed behind Shuuta, poking his sides and messing around with him.
Kazuma glared confused, those little jumps that Shuuta did were creepy.
While eating, they both were reticent; it was disturbing for them; Hanako was sitting next to Shuuta and was just shifting her gaze at Shuuta and Kazuma.
'Should I just go for it..? Ugh this silence is very loud!'
"Do you believe in ghosts?" Shuuta finally killed the silence.
"Uhh...I guess so, why do you ask?"
"I'm sorry for lying, I'll tell you the truth."
...
"So you were talking to a ghost?!" Kazuma responded with an excited voice.
"Yeah, her name is Hanako."
"Her? It's a girl?! Lucky you!"
"Hey! She's listening!"
"Oh? Really? Hey Hanako-san, I have many secrets of Shuuta, if you're interested."
"Don't you dare!"
Hanako's attention instantly shifted towards Kazuma.
"I can tell you his fetishes, where his porn stash is, the type of girl he likes, and much more!"
Shuuta was speechless, to the fact that Hanako was listening with caution, and Kazuma was telling all his secrets.
"I just moved into a new house! So you don't know where my porn stash is!"
"I see, but he didn't deny it, did he Hanako-san?"
"Ah..."
Hanako frowned at Shuuta with cold piercing eyes, Shuuta bashfully turned his gaze away from her.
'Nooo! My non-existing reputation!'
"It's a pleasure to meet you Hanako-san!"
"What's your name?" Shuuta repeats what Hanako said.
Kazuma glanced at Shuuta and realized what his amigo was doing.
"I'm Kazuma, Shuuta's childhood and best friend."
"It's a pleasure! Kazuma-kun!" Shuuta was cringing from calling him Kazuma-kun..."
Kazuma extended his hand to greet her, and Hanako did so as well. A shiver sensation held his hand, putting a smile on his face.
"Alright, I'm going to the restroom. I'll be back." Shuuta stood up, grabbed his food tray, and threw the trash away; he then made his way to the restroom.
After doing his business, he looked at himself in the mirror and contemplated himself.
"She left a mark on my jaw, her punches are very heavy! That damn Noara." He then rubbed his jaw and cringed from the pain.
Unexpectedly, his body shuddered from a menacing and threatening presence; he instantly looked around and found something that left him dumbfounded.
A small girl was straight up glaring at him; it was alarming how her eyes were placed on Shuuta.
She had an exquisite face, with no blemishes, and she was also relatively short, with thin, spindly limbs.
"Hello." The girl spoke impassively; her voice stung Shuuta's head, she sounded like an emotionless robot.
Shuuta didn't know what to say; he knew that dealing with emotionless people was rough. "What are you doing here? This is the man's restroom."
"Pathetic. I can sense all your mana but your pressure isn't existent. You're harmless, like a rabbit." The cold-blooded loli spoke like a listless soul.
Shuuta was rendered speechless, a loli mystic appeared! And wants your blood!
"Hey! I just found out I'm a Mystic! So, of course, I don't know how to use my powers." Shuuta tried to defend himself verbally.
"Stop babbling, I'll kill you anyway, doesn't matter if you're at your prime or not. You'll still die at my hands." Her stance changed; she looked ready to go.
Shuuta knew he was in trouble, but he didn't know what to do.
'What if she's really strong! I might not even stand a chance.'
The loli then rushed ominously. Shuuta closed his eyes, waiting for his doom.
Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap Tap
"Huh?" He looked down and saw her punching like a ferocious monster, but it felt like a little kid throwing a tantrum barrage.
"Perish weakling!" She said in a monotone voice.
'You're one to talk!' Shuuta frowned at her; he thought that his life was about to be deleted.
Shuuta then grabbed her head and pushed her away; she couldn't reach Shuuta anymore; her tiny arms weren't long enough.
"Heh Heh! And I thought you were going to kill me. What a joke!" Shuuta sighed gladly.
The little loli got angry and sent a kick to Shuuta's bean bag, instantly dropping him to the ground.
His scream of pain sounded like a squeaky toy being squished.
"Why you little!" His voice cracked up.
Shuuta rushed at her and grabbed her in a lock position; the loli slipped and made Shuuta slip as well.
Bam!*
They both fell into a position that looked like a sex move; almost instantly, Kazuma and Hanako went in to check the source of the noise and saw Shuuta on top of a little girl.
Hanako had berated eyes, and a bit of jealousy protruded from herself.
"Hello? Is this the police?" Kazuma pulled out his phone.
"Gaah! Stop! It's a misunderstanding!"
"Yes, I would like to report a case."
"Please listen to me! Kazuma!"
"Yes, at Memorial High School."
"STOP!"
Kazuma proceeds to take a picture of the crime.
Flash*
"My life is ruined." Shuuta's eyes died, and his soul came out of his mouth.
"It's not over yet! Remember this: I'll kill you eventually." The loli then dandles away from the beast's hands and departs from the restroom.
"I didn't know that you were into little girls." Kazuma laughs.
"Shut your trap! I swear to god I'll kill her!!" Shuuta's eyes shone red like a demon, his mouth curling up all the way it could.
"Sure, sure! As if you can touch the principal's daughter, oh wait! You did. And not just that, you almost ****** her! I envy you Shuuta! You have balls of steel." Kazuma kept teasing Shuuta.
Shuuta's eyes widened out of shock. Was that really the principal's daughter?! If it did...it meant his doom. But that wasn't the elephant in the room; it was the fact that she sensed all his "mana," but his pressure wasn't "existent," what did all that mean? Was she really a Mystic? Or was she lying?
'I should ask Noara-san tomorrow, I don't want to disturb her, she's probably tired after training me.'
The trio got out of the restroom.
But then.
PAM!*
"Huh?" Shuuta looked to his right and saw the loli tripping down and a group of girls laughing at her.
"Just because your father is the principal of the school, it doesn't mean you have the right to order us around!"
"For real! Who do you think you are?!"
"Yeah! Tiny girl!"
Shuuta clenched his fist after hearing all these disgraceful comments. However, he couldn't do anything about it if the loli went bossy mode on them.
"All...I said was excuse me..." the little loli whimpered.
Shuuta had a dark face, and he instantly walked up to the fallen little girl without hesitation, facing the snakes.
"Knock it off." Shuuta glared at the group noticing what every group of gossiping girls would look like: exaggerated make-up all over their faces, big mounds, and popular according to them...gals.
The girl looked up at Shuuta and wondered. 'Why is he helping me?'
"I didn't know she had friends!" The girl in the middle laughs
"What? Is she your girlfriend or something?" A girl from the group chuckles.
They all start laughing as a group.
Their laugh caught the attention of almost all of the cafeteria and surrounded them.
Suddenly there was a grim smile on Shuuta's face; he started chuckling gradually.
"Did the circus come here? Because I see a bunch of clowns!"
"What did you say?!"
"I see, you have the make-up, all you need is a red ball for a nose with a squeaky sound."
All the girls glared directly at Shuuta with a disgusted look.
"Do you even know who we are?"
"No, but I can tell that you all are just a bunch of..."
Everyone was rendered speechless, Including Hanako; she has never seen this side of Shuuta.
Kazuma was not shocked; he knew almost everything about him, including this evil side; he even named it.
"Oh boy, Katashit Shita is back." Kazuma was somewhat concerned because he was roasting the sh*t out of them.
"I didn't know looking like a clown was trending!" Shuuta laughed and bowed in an apology manner.
"Oh yeah!? Well...you..." The group leader started glancing at Shuuta to humiliate him, but she couldn't find anything. Shuuta was good-looking and fit; even some girls were talking about him in the back. And well, his personality is foul, but he has a good reason to be; the leader knew that she was picking on the loli.
"Mm? What's that? Did you run out of things to say?"
The leader of the gossiping girls just glared at him; she couldn't think of anything; she remained quiet for the rest of her roasting session.
"What's happening here?" The voice of an elegant man spoke.
Shuuta gazed toward the voice and saw Hikaru coming his way.
"President?!" The leader of the gossiping girls exclaimed in confusion.
"President? You Hikaru? What?!" Shuuta was surprised; he didn't know that Hikaru was the student council president.
"Onii-chan?" The little loli exclaimed; she too was surprised by his brother's presence.
"Onii-chan?!" Shuuta glanced at the stupefied loli, making his brain melt after absorbing everything.
"Onii-chan?!?!" The leader of the gossiping girls almost puked blood after hearing the loli.
"Yes, she's my sister...Isn't she kawaii!? I mean look at her! Her snowy curly hair hanging down, her light blue eyes, her fang hanging from her top lip, and her serious face! I mean if anyone did anything to her...." Hikaru's expression changed to that of a murderer, "...They wouldn't be standing here!" Hikaru smiled after saying that.
Shuuta called back, tripping with the loli accidentally and doing missionary; of course, it was accidental; he didn't mean any harm to her!
"I swear to god I'll kill her...You said." Kazuma chuckled behind Shuuta.
Shuuta sent an angry glance at Kazuma.
Really! He can't believe Kazuma right now; he can get killed by Hikaru; he doesn't know about Mystics!
"So, why is there a commotion here?" Hikaru asks, glancing at the leader girl and Shuuta.
Suddenly the loli raises her hand; taking Hikaru's attention, she says, "I'll explain everything."
"The boy over there tried to **** me in the restroom."
"What?! No, I didn't! You tried to murder me there so I just protected myself!"
"And, the group of girls over there humiliated me for being the principal's daughter."
"No! We uhh...just pulled a prank." The leader stuttered, stiffening as she spoke.
Shuuta was left speechless; she didn't even mention that he helped her.
On the other hand, Hikaru was enigmatic. Nobody knew what he was thinking, but then, out of the left-field, his enmity started oozing imperceptibly. Shuuta felt cold, colder as milliseconds passed; at first, he thought it was his imagination. Still, after having a good look around him, the loli was tugging his arm.
"I'm sorry, I think I crossed the line." The small girl was shivering; he felt her uneasiness touch his skin, 'cold!'
'Is he that scary?' That was the first question he had.
"You can't feel the pressure? I guess you haven't tapped into your powers yet." The loli then stood behind Shuuta and placed her head on Shuuta's back.
"What are you doing?!"
"His pressure is scary."
"Does it mean that I have to fight him?"
"Probably."
"Are you serious?!"
"Yes."
Hikaru walked slowly towards Shuuta in an imposing manner; the small girl clutched Shuuta's shirt harder as Hikaru got closer.
The gals stared petrified and remained mute as their hearts quivered.
Shuuta and Hikaru faced each other, both fearless and calm. Hikaru placed his hand on Shuuta's shoulder.
"You didn't do that, did you? I can tell that you're a nice guy, and I know that you helped her."
"Of course, I didn't do that! I'm not interested in lolis!" Shuuta awkwardly laughs as he finishes speaking.
Hikaru's hostility faded away, the small girl sighed gladly that his brother didn't cross the line.
Suddenly, Kazuma's eyes flashed.
"Hey Shuuta, I have a funny picture to show you!" A slight grin appeared on Kazuma's face.
Shuuta and Hikaru were curious; as Shuuta saw the picture, his eyes widened all the way, and his expression froze; Hikaru's face turned dark, showing no emotion.
It was the picture that Kazuma took when Shuuta was on top of the little girl.
Hikaru placed his hand on Shuuta's shoulder again and smiled.
"Duel me or die."

Their scheme involved taking Shuuta out on a date. Of course, Hikaru wasn't tagging along; the date was to be shared between Kakoyo and Yuri. The two engaged in a fierce game of paper-rock-scissors to decide, and the outcome was Yuri's victory. Each swing was a testament to his dedication, honing his technique under Kento's guidance and infusing his attacks with newfound power.
40. Little Detour.
The night enveloped the city, casting a shroud of darkness upon the bustling street. Pedestrians hurried along, undeterred by the cold. The corners of the avenue echoed with animated chatter. Illumination flowed from ornate lamps, painting the entire street in a warm glow. Stalls were scattered across the area, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Amidst this scene, a young man with crimson hair found himself captivated by the ambiance, transported to feudal Japan. Guards adorned in Yukatas and armed with ancient katanas patrolled the area. The women, all dressed in a variety of Kimonos, added a touch of elegance with their diverse colors and shapes. Shuuta was keenly aware of the exquisite craftsmanship in their clothing, hinting at its luxurious quality and perhaps hefty price. Shuuta shook his head, reminding himself of his purpose. He wasn't here for leisure or shopping; he had a mission to accomplish.

Shuuta couldn't bear to hear Hanako's agonized screams without taking action. He felt an overwhelming sense of powerlessness washing over him as he sat on a cliff beneath the sheltering branches of an ancient birch tree. His back pressed against the gnarled trunk, he released a sigh laden with concern. Moonlight bathed the scene, casting reflections of his own sorrowful state. The haunting echoes of Hanako's cries seemed to reverberate within him, etching pain deep into his tumultuous soul. "His heart is faltering..." Kakoyo's gaze fell upon Shuuta from a distance, a silent observer of his turmoil. Unbidden tears welled up in her eyes. Hikaru, resting behind a tree, broke the silence with a somber tone. "Why is he so thrilled?" He shrugged off the thought and continued inwardly. "Doesn't he realize the true price of a passive skill?" "Get ready, Shuuta. "Hey… are you finished talking, or do you plan to keep entertaining me?" The armored Fallen wielded a massive dark sword and abruptly materialized before Shuuta, his teleportation skill at play."Tch." Shuuta exerted all his strength, deflecting the blow; the clash ignited sparks that illuminated their determined faces."Hey there, kid. It's been a while since I had a chance to greet someone. I was beginning to crave the taste of blood," the Fallen jeered in a sinister tone."Are you a Mystic? What brings you here? This is supposed to be Master Iho's domain," Shuuta inquired while sizing up his opponent."Huh? What nonsense are you spouting? This is Hiroyama's forgotten maximum-security prison, technically a dungeon that time left behind," the Fallen's eyes briefly clouded with sorrow before rage engulfed him, and he unleashed a powerful roar, his colossal sword shattering Shuuta's stance.
36. Exp Dungeon?
Hikaru's energy abruptly shifted, sending shivers down Shuuta's spine. A massive surge of mana congregated around Hikaru, catching Shuuta off guard. 'Didn't he mention having less mana than me?' While Shuura was technically right, there was more to it. "I'm about to unveil the results of my training, Shuuta." Hikaru's grin widened as he formed an 'X' with his crossed arms. Opening his palms, he released a wave of mana that pushed the tar monsters several meters back. Shuuta was prepared for impact, but the wave didn't harm him. "Huh? It didn't affect me." "It's not over yet! [Light Magic: Kingusunēku no su!]" Hikaru's command was followed by the formation of various luminous snakes that emerged from his back. It was an unfamiliar, ethereal kind of affection, a love transcending time, passed down from one student to another. "Granny? Wh-what are you doing?" Shuuta's voice quivered, perplexed by her unexpected actions. "Quiet, boy. I comprehend your emotions well, perhaps more than you realize. I understand the hatred that festers within your heart, for I too have harbored such feelings for decades. But do not worry, I shall take that burden upon myself so that you can find liberation." 'Mm? What's up Shuuta? Is it important?' Abbadon responded swiftly, even though Shuuta irritated him a bit, he would never turn his back on his son...never again. 'Is Anima a [Domain]?' This question left Abbadon speechless, it was a very advanced question! Even though he was unknowledgeable about stuff like that, thanks to Kohana, an Anima specialist, he was able to learn quite a lot. He groaned in remembrance. 'According to your mother, Anima is related to a Domain, but no. It's not the same skill, they are separate skills from different learnable Magic. I've heard your new Master tell you that the Domain skills are unique to her, she is wrong. Sure, you can't learn the skill at conventional ends, but you can definitely acquire it.'
