Ellen’s eyes had opened only just a little, she struggled to try to sit up in the absence of anyone beside her, as just then she saw her cousin, David look from the doorway, and he rushed to her side.

“Nurse!!” He called out as he stood by her side holding her hand “I’m so glad you’re safe” he muttered as he saw her weak hands on the hospital bed and in his hands. “I don’t know what I would have done if I lost you” he added.

“We..when will I be... discharged?” Ellen asked in a frail voice, her hands still weak and somewhat helpless “Don’t worry about that, I’ll have you out as soon as possible” David answered, a smile forming on his lips.

It was already a bit dark, David had succeeded in proceeding with the discharge form and was now free to take her home. “Are you both set to go?” The young nurse asked “Yeah, thank you so much for your help, I truly am grateful to you” David answered smiling.

He walked outside the hospital, Ellen being supported by his firm hands, he stepped outside,
