The jet soon 'ran' out of the tunnel before gradually flying off the ground. Puffs of dust filled the entire place and the sound of blades cutting through the air resonated across the environment. Dr. Thompson who had been standing in the tunnel couldn't help but sigh when he saw the jet soar into the sky. He watched as the large metallic wall slowly slid out of the ground.

At this moment he decided to make his move. With all his strength he ran towards the metallic wall which was already sliding out of the ground, reaching the height of a child. He then pressed his hands to the edge before throwing himself over the metallic wall. He fell to the hard ground which felt very cold to his body before rolling into the sandy ground.

Almost immediately the large boulder also slid up, blocking the entrance to the tunnel. Even if Dr. Thompson wanted to head back into the tunnel right now, there was no way to do so.
