David’s eyes searched through the room, he wasn’t sure what he was looking for or what to look for, was it Allen? He thought to himself “Maybe I was too harsh with my words” David said looking out the window, the painting which hung on the side was somewhat misplaced.

He placed his hands behind his back, “Whoever stole that safe has a lot on his plate, I’m sure” he muttered to himself, he also had work to do, he walked back to the seat behind his desk.

“Who could have stolen the safe? I hope he finds it and quickly” David said adjusting his seat. He focused on the work on the desk in a way that it would distract him from the main issue at hand, he didn’t want to worry too much about the safe, judging from Allen’s determination, he will be able to find the thief, he thought to himself.

“May I come in?” The solemn voice asked, instead of a knock, Mary would rather let the men hear her captivating voice “You may” David answered, his voice in distraught.
