Chapter 21

Marissa woke up early, she made breakfast, did the laundry and also cleaned the house while Martin was still asleep.

She herself could not believe she is doing the house chores.

It was new to her,

Back at her home, she never did any of these,

Colin did them all.

But now she is no more at home, she is now with Martin who does not look like he gives a damn about it.

She would actually love to discuss getting an housemaid with him but it seems he is still mad at her about the last time.

So she just held it in.

At least until he is no more angry.

She was in the dinning room, serving the food when Martin walked downstairs, knotting his tie

"Good morning" Marissa greeted awkwardly.

He replied with a nod and then walked to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee

"I already made breakfast, why are you making coffee?" Marissa asked

"I have no intention of eating your food" he replied and gulped down the cup of coffee before walking to the door

"What do you mean?" Marissa
