Ria's mind blocked for a fraction of a second as she saw Tiger pointing the gun toward the operating table.

All she could think of was those helpless people waiting for a small hope to live, those patients waiting for some miracle that will help them with their struggle.

That's it, she didn't think of anything else and lunged in front of the gun closing her eyes.

"Thud..." a bullet was shot and despite Tiger tried to stop it, it still grazed Ria's arm.

Her vision blurred as the pain radiated through her body. She staggered backward, gripping her side where the bullet had grazed her.

It was a searing reminder of the danger she had put herself in to protect the patient's life. Disbelief and shock washed over her as she watched Tiger, her own husband, brandish the gun in the operating theater.
