Two days later, at Anna's funeral, not a single Summerfield High student comes except Jimmy and Cynthia.

Anna's parents don't seem to be able to forgive Jimmy. They don’t say anything to him until they leave the cemetery.

At least, Anna's older sister, Lila Campbell, is still taking her time to talk to Jimmy before going home. “I now know what happened in Drada, and the verbal abuses she had received.”

Jimmy doesn’t say anything, which makes Cynthia a bit anxious because of it.

Hence, she steps forward to express her condolences. “I’m sorry for your loss. I’ve tried to invite my classmates to come. But no one came.”

“So many people died. I quite understand the source of their resentment.” Lila deplores solemnly.

“What she did wasn’t as bad as you think,” says Jimmy.

“But it was so bad in their eyes,” Lila refutes composedly. “I don’t think I can tell this to my parents, and I believe this is also the reason why you’ve kept silent until now. I’m sorry you had to witness everything.”
