Bonfire

Ran started his journey to the west again. The border between Mondu Kingdom and Ramil is still a long way off. The path he walked was mostly meadows and he occasionally climbed hills. When night fell, Ran rested on the hill and spread out the cloth that made the mattress. Before going to bed, he read the old book for a while. At first, Ran did not understand what was written in the old book. Especially regarding symbols like magic. But the more he read it, Ran slowly understood. The symbols represent specific materials, elements, or substances.

“It seems that this book is intended for smart people. I can memorize all of its contents. But the point of this book I'm still biased. Moreover, these confusing symbols," said Ran as he closed the book and then he fell asleep.

The next morning, Ran was awakened by the sun. He hurried back walking west. Arriving at a river, Ran cleaned up and ate fruit from the rest of the supplies from Toroto village. Then he saw the desert from a distance.
