The White Coat

Before sunrise, the snow fell, thickening all the layers of white coat that covered almost all the roofs of buildings, trees, and grass in the city of Sarmith. Shukar who felt the air getting colder woke up and threw some logs into the heater so that the fire burned bigger. He turned his head to the left and saw Ran sitting reading an old book.

"You do not sleep?" asked Shukar, shivering.

Ran glanced then replied, "I was awake thirty minutes before you threw that lump of wood into the fire."

Shukar rubbed his eyes then he walked to the bed and collapsed until he woke up when the sun was already hot. However, more and more snow fell like cotton grains deliberately sown by angels. After taking a shower and other things, they left the hotel to a market to look for information and breakfast.

"Hooray, let's have breakfast," said Shukar, raising his hands.

They arrived at a fairly busy shop ordered two slices of bread and two glasses of hot tea and sat down at an empty table.
