Bandits

I was feeling a little melancholy as I took my things and left. I had already spoken to the receptionist and explained that I would be leaving soon. So I didn't have to explain anything to her.

As I walked out into the street, I felt that suffocating heat that was starting to set in early in the morning. I decided to walk faster to get to the outskirts of the city of mud and stone.

The wound I had on my shoulder no longer hurt. It had healed completely and the scar was no longer noticeable. I only hoped that I would not suffer a similar wound again, it was very annoying. As I walked I saw that other adventurers were also leaving this city, but as we were all somewhat distant no one spoke. We only participated in the missions in silence, perhaps because of the rivalry to stand out more. Unlike all of them, I had no armor, and that was one of my weaknesses. From now on I had to look for a suitable one so that I could be calmer and not receive so many wounds in my body.
