The human girl
'Another fire?' Onerios thought as he smelled smoke in the air 'We need to leave before it catches up' he climbed down from the cliff he had been standing, walking towards a small bush and using the light on his head to communicate with his siblings, telling them to stick close and follow him. They calmly popped out from the bush and stuck to his fur.

He then walked the opposite direction from where he smelled the fire, crossing a few streams just to be safe. Mother taught him that the wind could change suddenly, ending up trapping him in a circle of fire, so he always made sure to put as much distance between him and that danger as possible.

Onerios thought of travelling to a new part of the forest, or a new forest altogether, seeing how this one was burning down.

'It's not fire season yet though... a human probably lost control of their camp fire again' he sighed, heading north as his siblings made themselves comfortable in his fur, taking a nap.
