A Sublime Love, chapter 9

The inspector was taken by all this story on which he investigates when he learns that a construction site has just caught fire so that he leaves the office running to go to the scene.

Aliyan has just come home to take a cold shower and swap his jacket with his shirt when he comes across Bendis and Estrela holding each other's heads in the living room. As soon as he walks in and finds them pacing around he's so surprised to see them like that, surprised to see best friends arguing like that for some question or reason. He had asked them to know what was going on between them but Bendis kept forbidding Estrela to tell him anything. Estrela is so amazed by his reaction and wonders why doesn't want to tell Aliyan about what they saw so soon. Aliyan insisted that they tell him what was going on but Bendis flatly refused. He ended up letting his guard down and was about to raise his voice when his cell phone rings, it's Bénédicte. Bénédicte calls him to inform him of the fire that has just taken place. Hearing of the fire Aliyan rushed to the site. On the road he calls the firefighters to bring them to the site and some of his site employees to get news of the state of the site and know the severity of the damage. He was driving so fast that he no longer looked at the traffic lights. As soon as he arrives at the site he gets out of his car without closing the door and runs towards the employees who form a group somewhere there. He asks them to know what happened and what caused all this. One of the employers was going to answer him when the inspector asks to know the head of the site or the one who directs the site.

Even the inspector was surprised to learn that his first suspect is the site manager who has just caught fire. The inspector asks him a few questions on the construction site when the scientific team calls him. He tells Aliyan that he is coming in a minute and turns to the woman calling him. The female scientist makes him understand that the incident was caused by someone and explains to him what led him to this confirmation. Not being surprised to know that the fire was started because everything about Aliyan is just a mystery, the inspector rushes to Aliyan and says “why did you set fire to the site? What are you hiding? ".

Aliyan not understanding where he is coming from looks at him strangely but he still wanted to know why the site caught fire and according to him Aliyan must know the answer. Aliyan explains to him that he knows nothing about all this and moreover that he was not there when the fire took place. He gave himself to explain when he remembers Yannick's call to cut his voice.

The inspector looks at him with a weird look and opens his arms to tell him what's up but he replies "nothing" and turns to take his car back. On his way home he calls Bendis to meet her at home but Bendis says she is very busy so Aliyan had to insist that she agree to come back. Later at home Aliyan reunites with Bendis.

- I want you to give me all the info you have.

- Information? On what or on whom?

- I asked you to do me a favor, didn't I?

- Oh yes. You're right, Bénédicte deals with Yannick.

- That's all ? You're hiding a few things from me, I know but I don't know why.

- Hmm I want to kill her.

- What ? You're crazy ? Tell me you're kidding.

- Nope ! I overheard a discussion with Estrela between Yannick and Bénédicte and learning that they have a connection and that she is in love with my brother I just wanted to strangle her. Especially since she is aware that Yannick doesn't love her and that he only plays with her feelings. And to think that she's going to put it all on love to say that he made her blind.

- It's true. But promise me you won't do anything and let me handle it.

- If you promise me you won't go to jail, yes.

- Promise!

Aliyan kisses his sweetheart then he leaves the building to go to work.

Mr. Wilfried has just arrived at the office and there he learns the bad news about the construction site. Hearing the news from his secretary, he asks her to bring his lawyers to his office immediately and more quickly. As soon as they are there he asks to know if the fire will not change their plans. They reassure him by saying that all this does not change the situation but on the contrary it helps them much more. Mr. Wilfried laughs to hear it because it is good news for him. The lawyers have asked him to know what else he wants and if not they can step aside when he orders them to move on following the events and that Aliyan must leave his company before the end of the week. After that Mr. Wilfried told his lawyers to see more because he is going to go somewhere for his business.

Yannick is also in the office during this time and his father, Mr. Wilfried, has picked him up in his arms before leaving him for his trip. Yannick went there to promise his father that he will play his role and that he can count on him because he is an OUSSEYE. His father told him that it was in his interest and that he should not make any mistakes in his absence. While they are talking, Yannick's cell phone keeps ringing. His father left him saying he should go or his cell phone will eventually explode, he spoke in a fit of giggles. After his father left, he called back Bénédicte who kept calling him. Bénédicte informs him that the plan succeeded and that the construction site caught fire as agreed and that there are the police who are in Aliyan's company and who search everything. Yannick is happy to hear it and he poured himself a glass of tequila. Before hanging up the call, Bénédicte asks Yannick to come over to his place in the evening because she misses him, which Yannick accepted, saying “I'll be there if I ever manage to have that time”.
