Fatima came back in time from the warehouse to join the philosophy and History class.

Everyone looked strangely at her. Even Mistress Kishra stopped mid-speech as she entered before she resumed again.

“It was rare for a student not to attend class.”

Whispers were circulating that she was Advisor Thadron's candidate, some students had saw him visiting her yesterday even though visitation was banned and had spread the news.

There were mixed faces of fear, envy and awe in the eyes of the students.

“She didn't look at them as she went to her desk. Her mind was far away.

She had to lay low for some time, she reasoned, it won't be good for her if she turned up dead before she could do something in revenge towards Advisor Thadron.
