Chapter 28.

POV; Trapped.

Hassan followed his grandfather closely as they headed back to the hut.

He had tried starting up a conversation with the man but his questions were met by short cryptic responses which meant that he didn't want to talk.

They had walked in silence since then with Hassan inwardly fuming at his grandfather's behavior.

“No one ignore him like that, not even Advisor Thadron. He hurried to keep up with his long strides.

He was a well-built man who looked about forty to sixty. Hassan could see where he got some of his facial features.

They had the same pointed nose and honey brown eyes. His upper body was bare and he only had a native clothes material around his waist.

He carried himself with authority and seemed like someone who was used to people obeying him.

As they neared the hut, he saw the atmosphere around there clouded by smoke that spiraled and curved to form hazy patterns that obscured a large part of the building.
