POV: Dream of fate.

To Fatima, it seemed her body had been in the institute training for long but her mind wasn't. Even now, her mind had traveled so far away from her that it seemed her mind wasn't hers anymore.

For days, the old woman whom she was sure he hadn't seen anywhere had been ambushing her dreams.

Now, sleeping at night which was usually an escape from all her painful thoughts about Papa, from her weeping heart which always cried blood over her disappointment towards Hassan had also become a thing to dread.

It seemed the moment the kedrans laid foot on earth, she was doomed to have bad luck thereafter.

The destiny the old woman had been telling her to embrace was even more confusing. Could a damaged girl like her have a significant destiny awaiting.

“No, she thinks not.”

Now, she lay in bed silently offering supplication to Allah.

“Supplications against the evil of sleep and jins which may ravage the sleep of man.

She remembered she had chanted this supplication every n

POV: Dungeon Escape“Get up, you lazy ass!” A guard shouted, banging the cell door with his gun and directing the beam of a torch to light a stationary figure lying down inside the cell. The man did not move at all but patil had expected the behavior from him. He was one of the most difficult prisoners he had come across in all the four years he had been employed as one of the prison guards. He radioed, and his colleague told him about the situation. As usual, he gave a non-committal grunt that he was coming.Patil ignored his attitude; he had bigger things in mind, like a prisoner. The prisoner was tagged to Code Hazel by the warden who had warned the other guards to be careful with him as he was one of the top assassins in kedran. They had come across the information when one of the inmates recognized him as the Hooded assassin in the cafeteria section of the prison. He had lived up to his reputation and had lunged at the man who identified him but was stopped Mid-way in his attack

POV: Dungeon Escape? Part 2.Ruzio laid on the cold hard ground of the cell, analyzing the plans he had in mind. He had not expected any help from the Rebels but when he had seen the message from Advisor Thadron, he was a bit relieved and had regained his will to live.He wondered how he would face the Advisor, he had never failed an assignment before now. He had been proud of his skills and set and underestimated the difficulty of the task.“He vowed to himself not to do so again if he got out of the dungeon alive.” Everyone thought he had lost the will to live, he could see it in their eyes and he laughed inwardly at their thoughts. It would take more than that to break him, he was just analyzing and studying the place to get a better feel of how the operation runs in the dungeon.“His Infinite patient has served him well in other jobs and it did so now. He had watched, studied and scrapped many ideas he had originally had. He didn't want to bungle another opportunity, he couldn't

POV: Yuki.Fatima looked at Sima, waiting for her to fully comprehend what she had just told her. It was a long story and they had been at it for hours now. They were in Master Krim's class but he was absent, which has been a frequent thing lately. The place was chaotic as the other students all engaged in different activities, people were chatting among themselves while others held a small mock fight in front of the classroom and the cheers from people behind added to the din.“There were a few quiet ones in the class who just observed others without talking. Fatima and Sima were one of the quiet ones. They had found a less noisy place at the back of the class to talk and she had told Sima everything about herself.Sima sensed something different with her when she came out of the toilet even though she pretended as if everything was fine. She had disturbed her to open up about the problem until she promised to tell her at her own time.“She was now acting on the promise she had ma

POV: Patil's Phobia. When Ruzio had newly joined the Rebel group, he had learnt about the penalty of a compromised spy or high ranking rebel officials.“They were killed by any of the numerous spies working for the Advisor before they could leak out any secret. He had even carried out such missions, eliminating his brothers in the movement. How ironic it was that he was captured when he came to kill a compromised spy. He must be the first assassin in history who was compromised when he came to assassinate another compromised spy.“It has helped to protect the movement in the little time they had been formed but he still could not believe that Advisor Thadron would do this to him. They had known each other for long and were close. Guess it was all business to him. He focused on the danger at hand, he didn't have many options of attacking except to defend himself. He didn't exactly know if Dishu was a good fighter, only his strength. He wasn't unduly bothered about the situation, he

POV: Nostalgia.Ruzio heard the alarm broadcast message from the digital watch on his wrist. It was a good thing he had removed the watch from Dishu's hand before he left the cell, that way, he was now informed and kept up to date about the chase.“It was hard to navigate the dungeon as it has multiple routes and the road all seemed the same.He had stripped Dishu of his clothes and put them on. He now looked like a guard, he brought down the helmet lower so as to avoid suspicion at his familiar face. It seemed all the cell guards knew and recognized each other, he had often heard them address their colleague by their name when they came around the cell.He heard sounds of running footsteps in the corridor and he knew it was the guards. He ducked into a thin opening in the wall nearby just as the first batch of guards passed by.They all moved orderly like a herd of Grofs and moved fluidly. Under the cover of darkness, he slipped among the group and ran forward with them.He hoped a p

POV: Complicated flips.Fatima heard Master Yedder had grown wary of her. He wasn't attacking with the careless gusto with which he had started. It meant it didn't underestimate her again, even his stance said it.A part of her was proud of the sudden respect but she was largely worried. Master Yedder was one of the most formidable fighters around and she didn't know how strong the new AI was in fights.“The whole place was quiet, every pair of eyes were glued on them, she saw Sima with a sad face still holding her hands in a prayer gesture and mouthing apologies. She ignored her and focused on Master Yedder who is circling her now. She wasn't angry at Sima, she knew it had to be a mistake but she didn't want to let her go off easily. She would have been minced meat by now if not for the system. “So what do I get if I win this fight in combat mode?” She asked the system telepathically.[Seeing as this is a strong opponent, you'll automatically go to level 2 instead of passing throug

POV: Level upgradeFatima walked away from the boy on the ground and went to the side to wait for the class to be over. She saw other trainees still battling with their opponents trying to perfect the flip but few people succeed. She had seen master Yedder write something on his communication device as she had finished the fight. There was a scowl on his face when she headed back to the side but she didn't care. She was glad to have finished the fight quickly.“How do I distribute the points, Yuki?” she asked. [Just think of where you want them to be, chose among Agility, combat skills or weapon efficiency]She thought carefully on it and came to a conclusion quickly. Her ability was leaked to her reflexes and speed. Her combat skills were her and training experience which was the most important thing of the three. “They hadn't started training with weapons so it wasn't important now, " she concluded. “10 points to my Combat skills and 5 points to my Agility," she said after a w

POV: A Kizil Two hours had crept by and the queue for the health inspection exercises was still long. The trainees grumbled among themselves at the nurse's slowlynesse. The people at the front who back from the inspection told their colleagues at the back that she had taken time inspecting them with a large machine. They were sure that she wasn't a nurse, they spoke of her spooky manner and behavior. Fatima stood patiently in the queue. She was the only one standing erect, the rest of the trainees slouch in various positions angry at the long wait. Sima leaned on her, tired of standing for long. “Are you not tired of standing still for so long?” Sima asked her surprised that she didn't show any signs of weakness. “I'm not tired, I'm used to this kind of thing. I'm physically fit.” She replied. It was half true on her part. It was true that she was physically fit, but it wasn't why she wasn't tired. She knew it was her system; Yuki that made her strong.”“I'm sharp too, but I'm

POV: who's fears death. On reaching his room, prince Fin quickly removed all his clothes. The work ahead was not a pleasant one for finery. Reaching into his wardrobe he selected what he needed to take with him underground. He has made a mental note beforehand of what to carry. There was a black mask to hide his identity, a large coil for climbing robe, a pair of gloves, a touch light and mostly a gun. He was not sure if he was saved down there so he was not taking any chances. He slipped the key into his pocket of his trousers, he packed all the items into the bag and slung across his shoulders. He opened the window and looked out to look if it was safe to go through. It was a good thing that it was late, the darkness helped obscure the surroundings so he could easily slip by. He had made sure to wear black overalls. He had earlier marked out where all the surveillance cameras were and had chosen a route to avoid them. It was up to the universe to assist him out as he had made all hi

POV; The Sceptre.Prince Fin glanced fleetingly at the surroundings of the hallway as he walked briskly along the hall towards the royal court. He scarcely paid attention to the guards who saluted him as he walked past. His mind was far away. The Aged one had implied from the talk that they had that the key to the hidden underground library was with his father, the emperor. He had nearly given up when he had considered it at first. Finding the key seemed impossible, the emperor would not just leave the key laying around carelessly. He was a meticulous sharped eye man who was difficult in everything that he did. If there was one place the key would be, it was the emperor's bedchamber, he was sure of it. The room held a close place in the heart of the emperor who valued it above his children and he had repeatedly told the guards not to allow them to enter his room. He had bad memories of being sent away from the room while growing up. He had not given it much thought for a long tim

POV: Sad songs.Hassan woke up to face the harsh rays from the sun that was shining on his face. The continuous crowing from the cock, was not pleasant to ears, as to deny him the peace and calm he needed. Thanks to grandfather, he barely had enough time to rest, as he was always put through vigorous practical training since the man had claimed that he needed all of it.”The training to him was not doing any good, and he was already fed up with all these. The imprint of the body he was in kept on telling him about how he should wait carefully for him to give him an escape plan, and he had been doing just that. Still, he had not gotten any lead, and the wait was becoming unbearable.”He tossed himself on the bed, trying so hard not to open up himself to the obvious reality that he was still stuck, with his grandfather and his men. All of it was in no way among the plans he had for himself. There was advisor Thadron to handle, and every single second he spent there, only made him ha

He wondered how an old woman was able to sneak past all of them and entered his Chamber. More reason for him to change them, he thought. “It was getting incredibly hard for someone to find a trustworthy person, lately it seemed everyone he trusted had an ulterior motive so he always questioned their intention. But she was saying something about his destiny and he was now intrigued. For a fake, she had known exactly what to say and he wanted to hear her out further. “Enough with the questions I know exactly what has been troubling you lately. For a long time, his grandfather and his friends in the secret society had been teaching him mystical and dark arts. He tried concentrating on the mango tree. The old man had said the trick was to feel the soul of the tree in his own cord and make it bow to his will. Hot beans of sweat ran down from his forehead and his eyes began to itch from staring long at the tree without blinking.“We knew that this would happen in your practical magic lesson.” The old man said. “Your progress was too rapid since you were not in the contrasts of a human. He had woken up again to the bad dream which had only grown worse as time went on. He had tired focusing his energy on different hobbies he enjoyed but to no avail. He no longer enjoyed doing anything. He remembered the words of an old servant in the palace who had been put to death afterwards. The man had once told him to be careful on his path. That his path of greatness will start when he is 18 years old. At first, he brushed off the man's words. His tutors and father had told him from an early stage that people will always want to get favors from him because he was a prince and that he should learn to recognize and stern with those kinds of people. Lately it seems the man has been making sense, he was now 21 and had been having recurring nightmares since he was 18. He had no one to talk to, if only mother was alive, he thou
