CHAPTER 29

It left Aamon speechless for about a while. He couldn’t even bring up what he initially came here for. Facing Vicente this close somehow intimidated Aamon.

He wanted to talk to him about his purpose, but for some reason, it felt as though his tongue won’t just move to speak up.

“So, are you just going to stay quiet and stare at me forever?” Vicente eventually broke the silence that also caused Aamon to flinch.

He came to senses and realized how much time he had actually wasted overthinking.

“No, I–I, uh, well I—” he begin to stammer. At the back of his head, Aamon despised the fact that he was actually having the trouble to talk straight in front of Vicente.

At the very least, he shouldn’t even show any sign of weakness in front of him. Aside from that, Aamon must fix the way he behave now. Even he wouldn’t want to encounter someone who kept stammering while at the middle of their conversation.

He eventually cleared his thoughts and tried to absorb the fact that he was able to defeat
